Hello,
I need help how to use new foil technology when I create wedding invitations. I don't see the option of foil. How/where do I want it?
Thanks so much

Hi, you need to select the foil cardstock to edit on, it is not possible to 'add foil' to any card/paper type.
Template here https://www.zazzle.com/create_your_own_foil_holiday_card-256251210161122798
In edit mode you have THREE layers
FOIL
FRONT
BACK
When you start to edit, you need to add your text to both the foil view AND the front view (same exact placement - copy and paste). Change the text on the 'front' view to white. This will enhance the gold foil effect on the foil side which you should set at 'black'.
Add your image to foil side and tweak the filter options, checking your previews for the desired result. This will take practice.
You may want to duplicate the image layer to the 'front' layer also. This can create a nice effect with gold aspects and color print.

THANK YOU 💐 so much for sharing that information. I wanted to wait until I had time to figure it out because initially I had no idea how to do it. Your help is very much appreciated.

you're welcome, it is quite time-consuming but worth the time as will be quicker once you get the hang of it and the fun you can have learning is worth it! Mixing the color print with the foil elements gives some lovely results ... makes a nice diversion from the regular stuff.

I just did it for a graduation card and it is as CreativeDesign describes. I put a gold foil frame around a photo of the graduate but a foil frame around a photo (or around anything that isn't also foil) is a bit tricky. Since the foil frame and the thing inside it are on two separate layers, they can't be resized or moved in tandem. Instead you have to resize/move one layer and then the other. I found I needed to count how many steps over and down or larger/smaller I had made one so that the other would match.

What I found works well is I work with everything on the "front" area so I can keep things lined up, then just as the last step use cut and paste to cut that layer out of the "front" and paste it into "foil", and it keeps the placement.

That's a good idea.
