I am new to Zazzle and I was wondering if it's possible to duplicate a store.
I am almost done setting up one that is public facing (for our clients), and I would then like to duplicate that store so that I can adjust the Royalties on it and offer the items for sale at a lower cost for our employees.
Is this possible and how would I do it without starting from scratch?
Thank you

I don't think there is any way to duplicate an entire store... you can easily duplicate products though. Just open the product, go into and then exit the design tool (you need not make any changes) and you'll find you have the sale button again. You'll want to make any items for employees only "direct only", as this will be the only way to limit the general public from also accessing them. I don't think you necessarily need to make an entirely new store, as far as I know stores themselves can only be designated public or private, there's no "direct only" setting for a store, but for your own organizational needs, perhaps put them in their own category. You will need to assemble a link list for your employees, as they'll need to follow a link to get to the discounted products.
Hope that helps.

@MAHCT256 You could create a second store and make all the products direct only so only your employees would be able to purchase from the direct links that you share with them. Those products wouldn't appear in the marketplace.
When publishing a product for sale, there is an option for direct only at the bottom of the page
You would have to do each product individually so starting from scratch is your only option.
Not sure whether you could arrange for a special store coupon code just for your employees but that's something you'd have to speak with zazzle about directly (not even sure the coupons exist) but if they did, you could just have the one store and ask your employees to use that coupon for discounts

You can't duplicate a store, but here's an idea I thought of that may work for you, (may not be worth the extra effort, but it's a viable solution...)
Before you proceed with this method--
Do a test run of one product with a friend or family member before you announce it to employees. That way you can verify that the direct link works and the price and % is correct. Explain to them that hey don't need to actually purchase the product, just place it in the cart, then remove it.
1. create a separate section and make it hidden,
After you set up your hidden section with at least one direct link product, send an email to your employees telling them that the products in your store are available with a special discount, upon request ,using whatever contact email link you provide in the email.
2. AFTER an employee requests a specific product, you then add the hidden product with the lower royalty and price into the hidden section, and make sure to
3 create a direct link to that product.
do this----edit product details>additional information>product visibility>direct only
4. The direct link would only be available to the employee once they request a specific product.
5. once the direct link to the product is ready, send the direct link to the employee so that they can click on it and purchase.
This method is kind of a pain, but at least you would not be trying to create links to every product in your store, and running into the problem about duplicate products.
If you attempt to create a second store with the same/duplicate products, Z frowns on duplicates in your other stores.
BTW, royalty % changes on the 20th of the month for whatever adjustment you made on any products during that month.
It took a while to sort this out and write it, if I missed some details, hopefully the concept will still make sense.
From Zazzle help files--
Direct-only - Your product is not visible in the Zazzle Marketplace and does not appear in any Store or within any RSS feed. It is only visible through external links or API integrations.

I have a question regarding having 2 stores. Let's say, hypothetically, I have Store A with 300 products and 50 of them are kids. Later I decide to open Store B just for kid stuffs. Is it possible to "take" those 50 products out of Store A and "put" them into Store B, so they are no longer in Store A and only available in Store B?

Kind of... you can easily move the items over by using the process I wrote BUT, those items become "new" in the new store. They lose all of their status - views and sales. You cannot just choose a new store for existing products. It would certainly be nice, but it's not available. Z does not like duplicate items in more than one store in the marketplace, so it's not recommended to duplicate items into different public stores. You can duplicate them into another store, but delete the original.
