Is there a way to block messages/users?

I have someone contacting me through the messaging system.  Just wondering if there is a way to block users?

Click on the three dots in the upper right hand corner of the chat screen - that will bring up the details pane where you can see the user. Click on the three dots next to the user's name and choose "block user." If someone is sending you inappropriate messages you might want to report them (use the "report user" link on the same menu as the "block user" link.) I'm not sure, but I think the conversation might disappear once you block them, so if you want to report them you might want to do that before you block them.

I just checked,
To the right of the name of the user in chat there are three dots, hold down on them and the "block user:" appears.

I had a bad exchange with someone, how do I block them?
Click on the “View Chat Information” icon   to open the right panel and click on
