Spam in chat?

I got this message in spam this am. It's fake, right? If so I'll block it. 😬fake zazzle support 11_12_25.png

I can tell you right now, that it all looks sketchy to me.  Why would Zazzle do this?  The info changes all the time, and they can't keep that current.  Btw, this is after I clicked on the verif-zazzle.com, and I had a pop up chat box with it.  So, I kept chatting away with it, saying I'm not giving you this until I find out that this is legit either through the forums or a direct email to my email (that they would have).  Plus, I said said, there's no notifications anywhere from Zazzle that this was happening.  I sure hope that no one falls for this, as it really does sound fishy to me.

I think that we had to legitimately verify our accounts about a year or so ago. Folks thought that might be spam at the time, but a moderator came in to say the request was legit.

I’d wait for a moderator to chime in and tell everyone if this new request is spam or not.

Maybe they want reverification to weed out all those spam accounts that have popping up like crazy.

I got one saying I was banned from Zazzle with a spammy looking link where I had to verify myself or lose my account. Looks like a block is in order for sure.

Thanks @Jadendreamer13 & @newradiance . This doesn't have the official Zazzle badge so to me It looks off. I'll wait til a moderator chimes in then. The link to verify looks sus as well.

Yeah, this is actually from an Independent Creator with 2 stores.  And that sounds to me like they may have gotten hacked.

Got a spammy looking email too, without the badge, saying I was banned and had to verify my account. Out of curiosity, I checked the link which asked for my credit card details and nothing else. I exited it without providing anything and blocked and reported it

One poster clicked the link. It’s definitely spam.
