So is it open to ALL occasions and life moments, even oddball things like Family Reunion, or Family Cruise?

I don't quite understand the difference between the collection and product winners.  For the product winner, will it just be one product entry and not collection based?

Also, my twin sister just opened a shop, but has very few products and really no social media following yet.   If she entered with all the social media posting requirements completed would her social media following inhibit her chances of winning?

Hi Malissa! Yes, for the product winner, it will be one product entry per submission and not collection based. Bonus, if the product entry is a "giftable" item.

Yes, your sister can submit products, collections and social content as long as she follows the requirements. Her social media following number will not inhibit her chances of winning.

One more question I meant to ask can we enter more than once as usual?

I looked at the #ZazzleMadeWedding contest winners so that I could get a good understanding of what a winning collection looks like. It appears that most of the winners have promoted their collections with unboxing videos, but the instructions for this contest do not specify an unboxing. I do see the highlighted designer Moodthology 's gorgeous unboxing videos. (The instructions for this contest indicate "Must promote collection and/or products on one or more social platforms (i.e., Instagram, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest). Bonus, if promoted via video")

I am curios if the contests "bonus" applies only to unboxing videos or do mockup videos that designers can make on Canva count too?

I am have a hard time justifying the environmental impact of purchasing items I do not need, spending money on items I will have to toss, and the expense associated with paying someone to create a videos for a product I just hope will sell. (Maybe if I was a seasoned designer, I wouldn't be as concerned.)

Thanks!

Hi Heather! The #ZazzleMadeWedding contest was targeted for customers rather than Creators. The bonus for promoted via video does not only apply to unboxing videos. Creators can choose how they would like to display the content and we understand that Creators may not have actual samples nor want to spend money on samples. We leave the creativity up to you!

Thank you! The examples provided in this contest are so professional that I couldn't help but think Zazzle is wanting designers to purchase products and pay professionals for videos. I am so glad to hear that these examples are not the standard required to be successful in the contests Zazzle runs.

Hi Zazzle Creator team. I’m looking at the requirements for the contest, and I saw the product media manager examples you gave.
And I’m a little bit perplex.

You wrote: “Watch how these Creators use Product Media Manager to spotlight single product videos showing different angles, settings, and functionalities. Videos serve as a powerful tool to help customers understand the essence, purpose and detail of products. Then you used the video example of a t-shirt from the_made_pelican to illustrate it. I watched it and immediately recognized that it has been made using the Placeit tool.

The problem of these tools is that they apply the creator original design on clothes which look like those that will be crafted and delivered by Zazzle but are not exactly those that will be crafted and delivered by Zazzle. So, to me, they don’t show the customer Zazzle product details or Zazzle product angles. At the same time, if we’d like to create such videos for the real products, it would mean that creators have to purchase all their products as a prerequisite. Personally I can’t afford to buy them (I’m very happy if some creators can, but I don’t think it’s the majority ). So, what should we do and what is the acceptable limit beyond which we don’t help the customer but mislead them ?

Hi Creator - We recognize the intricate nature of video creation and believe in empowering creators to explore their creativity freely. Our approach is to entrust Creators with the artistic direction, tailored to what they believe will effectively showcase and promote the product. For the T-shirt example, the Creator demonstrates the product in a different setting, while highlighting its appeal to a specific demographic, such as a dad. Additionally, purchasing our products is entirely optional when producing video content.

I'm still quite perplexed reading your response, especially when you say the creator demonstrates the product, because to me, it looks like the creator demonstrates another product, but thank you anyway for answering.

Hi,

Regarding the products, can they be from our existing collections/designs if they are created after April 8th? Or do we have to make brand new designs and collections to enter the contest?

You can add products to collections if they are created after April 8th. You're able to add older products to a collection if needed to round out a collection offering, however majority of products in a collection should be new.

Is it possible to enter a single product, and also its collection, as separate entries?

Yes, you can enter a single product and also it's collection as separate entries.

Thanks Heather!

I have experiencing some strange Pinterest issues. Pinterest shows Zazzle product type in my pin description. When I edit pin I see my own description with contest #zazzlemade, but it is not shown in public. How this issue will be adressed in terms of contest? i tag my pins but Pinterest shows something else.

Can you please send us a link to your pin to review? If you'd like to send us your pin via email, please email team.designer@zazzle.com. This will not impact your qualification of the contest. The #zazzlemade is more of a way our social media team to identify social media posts and for us to repromote your content.

Thank you Heather, I just sent email

On the submission form, specifically the promotion links, do you want links to our profile on the platforms, or to the actual promotion we did? I'm having trouble seeing how to copy a link for my promotion on Insta.

Also, do we have to tell you what category we're entering, or is that automatically determined, so to speak based on what the submission is?

Thanks for your help.

Hi - A link to the actual social post would be great. It's easier to get the link from desktop. If not, a link to your social media channel is ok and our judges should be able to find your post.

Regarding categories, yes, please let us know what moment you are creating for. You have the ability to type it in on the forum. If you are creating a baby shower collection for example, you would type in Baby Shower.

Do you have a note-taking app on your phone? You can make your own list with the name of the collection, date of entry, and what category you entered it in.  Or you could write a physical list on a notepad or sticky note.

Thanks Connie a lot. The idea floated my mind after I have already asked in the community, It does happens at times.

Stay Blessed

Hi! So all types of collections are eligible? I mean, not just cross-selling ones? If I make a collection with proposal cards for bridesmaids or one with condolence cards with different designs, can they also be submitted?

Heather

Can someone please explain how to use media manager? I'd like to enter the contest, but I can't seem to be able to load any pics to media manager for my products.

Here are Zazzle's instructions on using Media Manager: https://www.zazzle.com/creators/playbook/media+manager

I have a question regarding the originality of the products, do our whole design need to be created by ourselves(hand drawn or digitally ) or we can use stock graphics and make it one of a kind product ?

Could someone explain to me what is the purpose of putting #zazzlemade when a product is published on social networks. Specifically what is it for if it is shared on Pinterest?

Kashif61

These are (#zazzlemade, #zazzle, Zazzleshop and all such terms like this) are called hashtags and they play a vital role for ranking of your products on google searches all over the world and this is true for all other platforms including Pinterest,
