October Payments

Hello,

My payment is on pending since October 3rd (my very first payment) and since today is already the 15th, I was wondering if there is an issue with all the payments this month or just with mine.

Thanks,

Payments are made US time, which is behind much of the world. Give it until the evening.

Payments are scheduled for the 15th of the month always. Sometimes we get surprised with an early payment a day before the due date. But the 15th is the payment date.

@Anne-Marie

I was paid today, and so I assume you probably were, too. Yes?

I did receive a payment today. However, the sad thing is that the amount I received is lower than what they say it was cleared and paid in my account. No idea why this happened. I did not receive the bigger amount cleared and mentioned by Zazzle in my account. I wrote them an e-mail, no response yet.

Basically they cleared something, but in reality I received a lower amount. I can only hope they will fix this and pay that difference next month!

The "Current Total Balance" shown on the Earnings Summary page includes all sales that are approx 30 days past being ordered and are thus "cleared" for payment and have a green background in your Royalty History. But what a payment is issued for is on a different schedule.

Earnings through end of 1st month - (August)
will have cleared by end of 2nd month (September)
and are automatically paid out on the 15th of the 3rd month (October)

So whatever you got paid today doesn't include any sales after August  31 even though your Current Total Balance might be higher if you had sales in September.

That makes sense. However, I hope that difference will be included in the next month payment. It would have been nice to have a section in our accounts where it says the actual real amount that you received this month, last month etc. for a better follow up.

I will definitely not keep track of every single earning and a section with the actual sum paid every month would have been easier for us.

Maybe in time I'll have a better understanding of how this works here.

I periodically check my royalty listing, and when that month switches to the next month, I subtract anything in the new month from cleared earnings to know what I'll be paid, but I agree with you. Surely there must be a way for Zazzle to predict the upcoming payment in a clear manner without our having to pull out a calculator.

On your Earnings Summary page, click on "History", under "Payments". This will show you the amount you will be receiving on 15th of the month.

Yes, that was my first place to look and according to this section, it appears the higher amount that was not actually paid in full.
