Hello,
The "Other products from this collection" seems like a valuable way to make customers aware of similar items from the same store.
Suppose I have these Products
- Purple Dahlia Wedding Invitation
- Pink Dahlia Wedding Invitation
And each product is in two Collections
- Dahlia Wedding Invitations
- Floral Wedding Invitations
Which Collection will be shown on the Product Page if the Customer is viewing Purple Dahlia Invitation?
Is it based on the first Collection the product was added to? Or is it algorithmic? And if so, based on what?
thanks

Sorry for the delay here.
On the product pages, we can show up to three of your collections. The order is determined by an algorithm that ranks the collections by how related they are to the primary product on that page, as well as to the popularity of the design.

As far as I know, many of us have wondered, but so far, there hasn't been an answer. I'd love knowing.

I think it's whatever collection you put it in first, but I have no definitive answer. That's the way it seems to be for me.

Thank you @Connie. This was also my impression based on a few examples, but so hard to tell.

Didn't there used to be a SECOND and maybe a THIRD collection available to click on when a product was in multiple collections? The two choices I tried this morning only show the Primary collection (I did check that the product I viewed was in more than one collection).

I just checked one of my products that's in two collections and was able to click on a second collection. HOWEVER, only 9 of 12 products showed in the first collection and only 10 in the second collection, which has 73 (!) products. If that's all we're getting these days, then what's the point?
