Opt out of digital removed from settings?

I am not participating in the digital thing - yet now whenever I check my sales views etc under the product tab I am immediately getting a drop down view of digital sales.  Sorta annoying but ok.....

I checked to make sure my settings were correct and noticed it has been removed?  Why would you remove this?  I am not looking to participate just like I have not in previous things like selling on Amazon..... that check box is still under my settings why would the digital participation box not remain here as well?

I have checked and there have been no sales but I would feel better if this was put back under the settings tab.  It is the only proof I have I am NOT participating and to have it not here now makes it confusing.  Now is a customer able to transfer to a digital if they choose?

I am glad I took a screenshot when I checked the box.... would you please put this back? Or explain why it was removed.  Again I am not looking to be caught off guard for some random item to all of a sudden show up as a digital sale.

Thank you!

The opt out in the backend was set up for the initial migration.  That date has passed and now you can utilize the statistics drop down to see if things are enabled for digital download.  As you create new products that are eligible for digital downloads, there is a place on the Post Product for Sale page where you decide if you want want to enable the ability for customers to download or not.

I also took a screenshot when I opted out. Now same as you, my opt out check box is gone from settings. Glad I have the screenshot just in case things go wonky. Of course removing  it without warning is off putting, I agree.

Are you seeing a green "Downloadable" label on any of your cards or posters? If not, then you're just fine. That dropdown is showing up for everyone (and driving us crazy).

Exactly! You weren't opting out of the program entirely, you were just opting out of having your products automatically migrated.

Here is how to opt out manually:

2. Enable/disable products individually or in bulk. This will allow you to add or remove individual products from the digital offering. This process should be fairly familiar: Select the product(s) then use the Actions dropdown menu to Enable or Disable. If you’re looking to enable multiple products at once I’d suggest filtering by “Eligible” products, then select all of the desired products.

This comes from this thread, where you can find more information about other aspects of the new feature. https://community.zazzle.com/t5/instant-downloads/creator-updates-for-upcoming-instant-downloads-fea...

@Cat it was my understanding I was opting "out" completely but ok but I do not see a reason for changing my mind I would prefer my settings to remain as they were

@Barbara I do not see a green label but that drop down bar has eligible products you click that and everything that can be digital uploads ..... ummm no means no but I guess Z thinks I am going to change my mind?  This is the part that annoys me if I said no to the migration part than why is anything appearing here.  That is why I am curious to know if somehow someway sometime a customer is going to figure out how to transfer to digital.  I just do not like it.  There are other platforms if I choose to do so to sell digital.

No green labels means you've completely opted out and you don't have to worry about any of it. I'm not entirely sure, but I don't believe a customer can transfer your design into something that's downloadable. If that were to be allowed, we'd all be screaming bloody murder.
