I'm a little confused and I'm hoping someone can straighten me out.
When we use the widget on Zazzle's site to share to pinterest, does it automatically put our referral code or do we have to manually make pins for pinterest?
Thank you.

It used to put the referral code. Since they switched to the new Ambassador program this week, it no longer attaches the code. So if you want that, you need to make manual pins.

As Badeesie says, the new Share from Zazzle product pages only sends a clean self referral link to Pinterest or any other platform. The only way you could add your fr# is by making a manual pin / post.
If you were to Share from Zazzle a different creators product, the system automatically sends the link with your rf# attached to the url thus making is a "cross marketing referral."
It's all right HERE in your back end My Account > Ambassadors tab. What this page does not say is this automatically is the case using the Share button.

I gave an incomplete answer, which @LMGildersleeve has graciously corrected. You only get the clean (no referral code) links when sharing your own products. If you share other people's products, the code is added automatically.
Sorry. My only excuse is tiredness/lack of sleep.
