Quick create disappeared

Hi, just wondering why did the quick create option disappear...when clicking the quick create link now it redirects to this link instead: https://www.zazzle.com/custom/gifts?exactMatch=False (same page as the "create new product")
Is there a way to resolve that?

Thanks!

I am having this issue as well - how do we get to our product templates - is there a new path other than the "quick create" - thanks!

Not sure if this was what you were asking….One possible solution, you could use the  zazzle templates page, it might work for you until you can use quick create again.

Hi Nadine - I just noticed that the Quick Create has been paused for the holidays until further notice - just in case you haven't seen the notice yet - at least we know what is going on!

they gave a 20 day advance notice for the freeze(which happens every year) but no heads up for getting rid of quick create & also no end date posted. as usual, zazzle is more concerned with making problems than actually FIXING problems

eta: the forum was down for me the past couple of days so i didnt even get that last minute update until today

I agree they've known for a long time the reviewing team is always up to they eyeballs in products. They announced the royalty freeze that they do every year if you've been here for a year it's nothing different but to not announce the quick create shut down was a very poor decision. I've used it several times and there are designers who use it way more than I. To not even have a week's notice or more is crazy to me. Also no mention of the current queue. If I had something posted a week before the shut down is it still going to make it through eventually? Or will nothing that was queued pre shut down be posted til after Christmas or new years or when the forums open back up after the holidays?

i made some products with quick create in october. they JUST showed up yesterday.

eta: still no reply from zazzle to my nov 2 email.just dropping the ball all over the place......

Hey everyone, thank you for all the replies they all answered my question.
Indeed I use the quick create quite a lot and I'm not very active on the forums unless there are technical issues so I had no idea this was coming and the 2-day notice is laughable.
I have to say I don't understand the requirement to review batch uploads in contrast to single products in the first place, and this decision without a timeline for the quick create to be back makes me reconsider whether to continue uploading my designs to zazzle at all and focus on other avenues instead, as it shows lack of consideration and professionalism towards the designers and artists that choose to be on zazzle.

I believe the reason is because otherwise spammers will use Quick Create to rapidly flood the marketplace with their junk. They're not going to sit there and upload one at a time.

I've been on Zazzle for a few months and JUST found out about Quick Create from a Youtube video and it's gone now. I'm disheartened because I have ZERO Zazzle sales and I just jumped on another POD and was able to get my designs on a 1000 products in about forty minutes. I hope they bring it back, I would feel less like I'm wasting my time altogether if I were spending less time, for no sales

Yikes! I would not want to see what Zazzle would become if everyone had the ability to pump out 1,000 products an hour into the marketplace.

I looked at your store and the oldest product I could find was only 2 weeks old. There are literally millions of products on Zazzle, unless you are heavily promoting your own stuff off-site, it's going to take longer than that to get found and start seeing sales.

I have two Zazzle accounts because it was too hard to search images… or at least I Don’t  know a quick way to search. Lol. I churned them out on the other site because it’s not customizable options, so you literally see what things could look like on dozens of items and pick the ones that look nice. I use more repeating tile designs there. It would just be nice for mugs and prints to be able to whoosh through some of the items that would look consistent.

I’ve been marketing on Instagram and Pinterest, but I don’t have much following so it’s not going well…. Used to get over 150k monthly views on Pinterest but they changed things there so it’s not the same. Any who.

For your sake, I hope Zazzle doesn't decide periwinkle blue is the same as Pantone's Very Peri. 🙂

Why? Am I missing something?

Pantone color names are copyrighted, and recently, people who used Very Peri in tags, titles, and descriptions got those products deleted. I was simply musing about the perils of words. LOL

For those who might not frequent the Forums, we post all major announcements here, and also in your Creator News section, which can be accessed on your log in home screen.

that doesnt help when the forum is down the day you post it(which happened to me). also doesnt explain why there wasnt an advanced heads up. i assume you are punishing us all for something ONE person did

Unfortunately, not every decision we make can have foresight. We had to make a quick decision for various reasons on pausing this feature. Please know our Creators and  Customers are always a top priority when it comes to making a call like this and I'm afraid we just didn't have the luxury of giving as much notice as we would have liked here. Apologies for any disappointment caused.

James, is there any update on when Quick Create will return?

it's over 4 months later since this message, what is going on?

Any word on when this will be back? Would really like to start creating some new products.

I am also wanting to know when Quick Create will return. Any idea when this might happen James?

Still no answer on the quick create return?  I have over 100 designs to add and can't do it until it is back. Maybe Zazzle is going in a different direction? It would be nice to have an answer even if it is not coming back and then we can all plan for our businesses....

Please?...

It would be nice to have some idea when quick create will be back. It is a royal pain in the ass to have to do all my wall art one at a time.

Was hoping to migrate my designs from another POD site because of their new fee tier structure that's outrageously harmful to creators (on top of the bare pennies most folks receive as it is). Though I only have a few designs, one specifically requires a lot of customizing across products and I thought I was going crazy unable to find the Quick Create as a starting point to begin tweaking it.

Going to be a HUGE pain if I'm forced to manually create each product separately for this design. It's nearly May. Some kind of BS if this is an alleged "holiday pause" 😕

What about using design transfer? Not as fast as Quick Create, but you can go from product to product with a single design without having to recreate titles, tags, etc.

for the holidays? it is now May 1st and the function is still gone. Get it together Zazzle, or creators will go elsewhere and stay there.

I came back on Zazzle to try and get some stuff done and spent 30 minutes searching for the quick create button only to find this forum...  why is it still gone?  This makes me not want to use Zazzle honestly.  I have a specific set of stuff i like to make with my art and I do not have the patience to upload to each template 1 by 1.  I'll find a more efficient print on demand website before i do that.
