Well, I sort of assumed that I was in the minority about doing my uploads manually, creating batches with quick create (in order to save having to type my keywords a million times), and then tweaking my descriptions after the batch posts. I have seen talk about API, but I don't know what that is. As an individual who produces art manually (watercolor, pastel, drawing, etc), I prefer to spend more time making new art, and then upload and do my quick create process.
If Quick Create does not return, it will change my situation considerably. The nice zazzle interface is one of the reasons I left Cafepress. (CP began making it harder and harder to make good products). I really like Zazzle, but I may look into other options.
Among the things I wish Zazzle would fix:
Updating the 'create a new product' menu to remove items that are discontinued. I often have a pile of products that are discontinued and when I go to transfer them to another product, and that very same discontinued product is included in my options.
And notifications about products that need to be optimized that does NOT MAKE THE PRODUCT HIDDEN! Especially during the Christmas/Holiday shopping season! I was horrified at how many of my products had been hidden during that time. Many more than I could possibly review in time! I ended up bulk editing to make them public without reviewing any of them - just to get them back in sight of the customers.
The Chat feature - this one is a pet peeve of mine. If I wanted to interact with shoppers, I would set up at an Art Sale. So many questions I have received are regarding production issues I have no knowledge or power over. The delay caused for the customer can only be discouraging for sales.
So, if Zazzle wants the individuality of unique artists in their designer base, they really need to make changes to make the experience easier and more time efficient for us. It is possible that Zazzle would prefer license products like Marvel and Disney and not individual artists like myself. Maybe they don't make enough money on creators like us and would prefer to phase us out in favor of marketing 'Big Box' type products?
I understand that much of the Zazzle sales are related to engagements and weddings. I don't offer much in that department, but have been considering creating more in that line. But instead of working on that, I've been hobbled by the 'create a product', 'optimize your product' and 'messaging' work.

@Maddy1
https://community.zazzle.com/t5/creator-news/quick-product-create-pause-for-holiday-season/ba-p/4705...
This is the current post by zazzle….it says until further notice, so they will post when it is reactivated.
…”We want to make sure we’re focusing all of our resources on the Customers you bring to Zazzle, so we can ensure the quickest turnaround time for product purchasing and production. In light of this, we have decided to pause our Quick Product Create feature until further notice. This will help us pool resources to where they are needed most; approving Customer orders!…”

I agree! I'm watching and waiting for the return of Quick Create. Creating one item at a time is painfully slow and not time efficient for the way I work.

nobody knows what they are thinking - at least they could come up with a statement instead of letting us check/hope every day

Perhaps Zazzle should hire me to do reviewing of quick create items. I would love the job!

I Think they should hire more People for this specific duty, because reviewing content is important for the platform to avoid the plenty of copyrights and trademark contents

I think it will not come back... All new products and ideas are somehow not fitted to the idea of "quick create". It feels like Zazzle will force us to create unique products, one by one. Not a bunch of one picture, downloaded somehow, replicated for 1000 times.

I Totally Agree With everyting you have just said from every aspect, There is this thing, If it's overwheelming for them to approve and review every products out of dozens every single day, they can just Disable the Product Review thingy, because it takes too much time and effort, and just bring back the Product template so that we can scale our Design on a different products once at a time including the wedding department as well, i'm not performing as good as i used to compared to the last year, it's feels weak, not motivated to put up any work anymore.

I'm STILL watching and waiting for the return of Quick Create. Instead of creating new products, I spend time optimizing my existing products and planning what I will make when Quick Create returns.
Has anyone seen or heard any updates on the situation?

Also, I see that this thread is now marked 'solved', with my message of 2-16-23 being marked with a check. Is this Zazzle's way of agreeing with my comment and leaving it at that with no further explanation?

Zazzle doesn't mark a post as the solution; the originator of the thread does this.

So, I made a help request to Zazzle regarding the absence of Quick Create, asking when it will be returning. This is the reply I got back:
That said, we will forward your comments on to the content development staff for their ongoing consideration in regards to bringing the quick create tool back.
Thanks once again for visiting Zazzle.com!
So there we have it. 😞

It's possible that, if they bring it back, it'll be available only for those who have proven in one way or another that they can use it responsibly. The quantity-over-quality folks are likely the culprits in what's happened. The best you can do for the time being is to use the method a lot of people use, which is to keep multiple tabs open, copying and pasting designs and text into a variety of products. I've used this method, and it's quite fast, though probably not as fast as QC. On the other hand, the products don't have to go under review.

That's an excellent point! I hope that's the case; that they screen designers to determine who has used it responsibly and make it available to them. And then perhaps, offer it to new designers after they have passed a certain bar, and then screen their posts for a while. That would make sense to me, if the issue is being overrun by designs to review. Let's hope!

Unfortunately, I have to share that the Quick Create option remains absent, adding to the challenges we're facing in Q4. I genuinely hope things take a positive turn for you, Jackie. It's becoming increasingly difficult to stay optimistic about the return of the Quick Create option. The outlook appears grim, and the frustration over its absence continues to linger, casting a shadow on our creative endeavors.

Back when I was first here, I tried QC and very quickly rejected it because it felt as if I were working on an assembly line. I've even stopped using multiple tabs because it felt like such a chore when I was here for the creative outlet. These days, if I've a mind to use a design on multiple products, I use design transfer, but only a few at a time. How I feel about these things has no reflection on other people. It's just me doing what suits me best.

That's sad they don't have any plans to bring it back. It's so frustrating. I'm so busy and to create products individually takes me 2-3 days just for one image. I don't have time for that so I haven't been adding to many new products and because of that my sales have dropped way down!!!! I would only create with 1-3 images a week with QC so I didn't overload them but now I may add 1 new image a month. I used to see an increase in sales when Z would post the QC products. If they are worried about getting flooded with them, maybe they should just limit it 1 a day or even 1 every couple days per creator? I have so many good new images that I'd like to post to replace my older stuff...
