Royalty Math Help

OK - now I need help with royalty math. 🤔

Are 'carve outs' different for international sales?  This was a sale of qty 4 of the same product; it was not a transfer.

Sale was 213.36 in AUD.  Royalty 13.2%. The royalty amt shown is 18 AUD.  ???   213.36 * 13.2% = 28.16...22.53 after a 20% carve out, yes??  What am I doing wrong?

@Caprice It seems we now get charged an extra flat fee of 20% for the VAT of that country (regardless of what their actual VAT is) carved out from our earnings so our royalties will be less than before for all international sales so that may be the reason? (from what I've seen)

You'll notice a new notation on the currency AUD++

Currency exchange rates fluctuate on a hourly basis and and zazzle is quick to change them so also take the difference into consideration too.

We really need @ColsCreations as she is the Queen of Calculations  (TM)  and am sure she'll kindly break it down for you

Congrats on the sale!

Thanks @Sara_H . I had missed the VAT issue.
