Is the Samsung Galaxy S9 discontinued? I would like confirmation please, before I delete products.
Thanks very much.

I wouldn't delete - just change the form factor to a newer model in product merchandising
then change marketplace departments
then make a promo or change it for the newer style
But the choice is yours at the end of the day

Yes, I'd change to a more up-to-date model and "replace product" - although I understand not everyone has that option. Worth checking.

Thank you for your responses. In the case of the S9, there is only one case option - the Barely There case. I already have made cases for the current Samsung models. I am in the midst of a category reorganization and the discontinued status prevents me from changing the details. I guess I will just hide the product. (Edited to add: I can't even hide the product.) Another question is do all these discontinued products affect our stores, like ranking etc.?

You can't hide discontinued models. Just change it to an iphone model (easily done in the drop down product merchandising) then you won't lose any stats if it's sold.
Not sure about whether discontinued products affect zrank - can't imagine it does but whether any historical sales attached to it might so if you delete a previous sold discontinued?
It might tip the scales so to speak.
No idea ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
