Tiling Image and Text Together - how to?

I have experimented but can't figure it out. I need help with tiling an image, say a towel, coming back to tiling text together. When I try to tile the text, it changes the image. I searched here but no luck.

You can group your image and text together, then tile them that way. In other words, after you have added your image and added your text, select both of these layers and select "group" from the top menu in the editor. Then you can tile them together.  Is that what you are wanting to do?

You can only tile one layer at a time. So if you tile text, you can't tile the image separately. The workaround is to group both the text and the image before tiling, like Dancing Pelican said.
