Hi! I am new to Zazzle and I only have one account and one store affiliated with that account. When I go to “edit details” in the store, it says I don’t have access to the page and need to login with the correct account owner?? The items I designed and own, I created them from a blank template.. I’m just a little confused. I can go back and edit the design from my account, but I don’t want to edit the design. If anyone has any insight I’d greatly appreciate it!

@Holton_art Which blank template did you start from? - I can see some products have already populated in your store. https://www.zazzle.com/store/holton_art_design/products
If you start from https://www.zazzle.com/custom and scroll down to the bottom - you can use those official blank templates
It could be possible that you used a non-official blank template that are littered around the marketplace by other designers meant for customers (and not designers)
If you go directly to your store products you should be able to edit details without being asked to log in
If you are trying to edit details on previous designs that you created from ' blank products' in your profile header under - 'my products' those are not yet in your store and are your Saved Designs not yet posted for sale
Go to the Stores area in that header - then click on your store then that tab will change to
You should be able to edit products from this screen that have been put in your store
There's probably a backlog with new items getting to the store front as it's Zazzle's most busiest time of the year and can take upto 72 hours to appear on your store front once posted for sale
Hope that helps
Welcome to Zazzle - it's confusing at first but there are loads of helpful people in the forum. Never be afraid to ask questions are there's always someone here that has been there - done that.

Sara,
Thank you so much for your response and help! I had no idea there were blank templates made by designers, I think that is exactly what I did!

@Holton_art Smashing! Don't forget to delete those other ones from your saved designs so you won't be tempted to use them again
Go to saved designs on your profile (not your store). Click the check box on the ones you want to delete and then click - delete selected

Hi! I'm also new to Zazzle and am having this same issue. How am I supposed to know which blank templates are from Zazzle and will let me edit product details? Even if the blank I've chosen says by "Zazzle Invitations" for example, I still can't edit it and I don't know how to figure out what to fix. Thanks in advance for any help!

@lgregg to create invitations from scratch - follow the crumbs from top left (on desktop) Create Your Own
You can't edit other designer's products then sell them yourself but if they are Zazzle's own blanks only from the Create Your Own - you should be able to add your designs (but not the icons in the design tool)
Bookmark https://www.zazzle.com/custom so you can easily find all the blanks and scroll down to the different departments and find products you'd like to design
It will either say 'personalize it' or 'customize the design' - press that blue button and start creating!

Hi @Sara_H! Thanks for your reply! So for all the blanks I've used I have been able to edit the design and list it for sale in my store (https://www.zazzle.com/store/thejoycollective). I'm unable to edit product details in this view though - maybe there's something else I've done incorrectly.

@lgregg when you say you can't edit product details - what are you trying to do? I can see it in your store https://www.zazzle.com/bright_bold_floral_personalized_note_cards-256957557155607220
edited to add - what browser are you using? Are you on a windows or mac? It could be an extension on your browser that's messing with it maybe?

@Sara_H I'm trying to edit details of the product that I set up when I posted it for sale. This button (circled in pink) seems like it would allow you to do that but when I click here I'm getting the error that I don't have permissions. I'm using Google Chrome on a Mac - I can always try something else!

@lgregg Can you edit details via your from the store back end drop down? Try another browser (don't suppose you've got a windows machine/firefox 😂🤣
I've never come across not being to edit details on the product page due to not having permissions *but am on a windows machine not mac)
You could try posting it for sale again (edit it slightly using the big blue button) and see if the new version does the same thing
Really strange

Hey! I have the same problem. I'm new here and I posted new items (within the last two days) and then tried to edit them but it gives me the same error. May I ask what browser you used to fix the problem or is there any other way to get the editor window open? (I used Opera/Windows myself). 🙂

@Annay I ended up using Safari on my Mac! I was having trouble with Google Chrome though. Sara suggested Firefox, I don't know if you have that. But changing browsers helped! I also had more success getting to the edit screen this way:

Thank you so much for your answer, I really appreciate it! 🦋
I'm personally using Opera (windows) and that function didn't work at any way, but now I changed to Edge and it works, YAY! So happy.
Hope you are having a beautiful summer!🥰

I found that I fail to edit the detail on Chrome (Windows) but when I use Edge (Windows) on same PC, it works
