Hi, I've been having issues with my w8 form. I've tried changing the section mentioned a few times after reading the relevant document (even tried getting help from chat bots) but no matter what I out it gets rejected. This is the only information I get from Zazzle:
Please revise the "Additional Conditions" on the last section in line 10 as what your currently have isn't quite correct. It would help to keep in mind the type of income you receive from Zazzle. It may also help to refer to the type of work you provide to the Zazzle website. This link may help you to clarify your wording (refer to sub section “Royalties” in the link below. Use “Ctrl” + “F” to open the search function in your web browser to locate it):
This is the section I'm stuck on, bold text is what I've submitted
Special rates and conditions (if applicable—see instructions): The beneficial owner is claiming the provisions of Article and paragraph 12(1)
of the treaty identified on line 9 above to claim a % rate of withholding on (specify type of income): Royalties for my designs
.
Explain the additional conditions in the Article and paragraph the beneficial owner meets to be eligible for the rate of withholding: I am the beneficial owner of the royalties and a resident of the UK for tax purposes
Can anyone help me get through this or point me in the direction of where I can get help because re-reading the same document is not helping me.

You're welcome, let us know if it goes through. If not the only other possible reason is if the details recorded re name address etc are not a word for word letter for letter match to what you entered on Zazzle when you first opened an account with them

It looks like that part II has been accepted but I do need to re-do it because of the second issue you raised with the address. I Didn't have it the same as my payment info so changed the payment info but as you pointed out it needs to be the same address that first goes onto their system. That's the only amendment they asked me to make. Thanks again!

It would really help if Zazzle provided pre-filled forms for each country which would be adequate for the native of such countries to use. I notice that Zazzle will reject a form, but won't suggest what a designer should put. Almost as if they're reluctant to, not allowed to, or both.

Agree, the forms they point to weren't the easiest for me to understand and zazzle were vague but hopefully all sorted now!
