It's to say tag spamming is frowned upon. Tag spamming is putting a whole bunch of tags on your product that are irrelevant but are also common search terms. This is done by using a whole bunch of multi word tags that are nothing but common search terms. Imagine a pillow with a picture of a dog and the tags are dog, animal, christmas birthday fathers day mothers day kids, glitter glam cute cool unique etc.
The whole idea is for them to show up in the most common searches. The problem it creates is that then when somebody puts in a search term (like Christmas) they get a whole bunch of irrelevant products that have nothing to do with what they are searching on and then they get frustrated with Zazzle and probably leave.
