Apologies for a stupid question.
I'm a bit confused on this. When a pending payment goes to the current total balance, does that mean that the payment has - totally - cleared? In other words, can the payment be taken back, i.e. cancellation or for another reason?
Thank you.

Unfortunately, yes, a payment can be cancelled. See the link below for possible explanations.

Thank you. I understand a payment can be cancelled. What I was wondering is if a payment is cleared, and it's in the Current Total Balance, can it still be cancelled? I read the link, and I didn't find that particular condition. Perhaps I missed something?

That's a good question! I have never had that particular situation happen to me. I seem to recall that maybe some creators have had that happen to them, but I could be recalling wrong. Maybe someone else can weigh in?

Yes, it can. I just had a "cleared" sale cancelled 2 days ago. 😒

I don't understand how this can happen. Perhaps a Zazzle rep can weigh in. Doesn't the buyer have 30 days to return an item? How can a payment be cleared and in the Current Total Balance waiting to be paid to the designer and then cancelled? That hasn't happened to me yet. I just had a large royalty (for me) and was curious about this.

Because even though the return window is 30 days, it really can be a "whenever", on a case-by-case basis.

Zazzle representatives, will you please clarify if a cleared sale that is in Current Total Balance can still be cancelled? I'm confused about this because I thought a customer had 30 days to cancel a sale. Thank you.

There are several reasons why a 30 day to get a refund just doesn't work. Say someone purchased something for a parents 90th upcoming birthday but they pass before the birthday. I don't think Zazzle would refuse to refund under similar circumstances to those.

This makes sense - a case by case basis after the 30 days. Thank you!!
