Collection Channels - How to Add Email if Not Enabled?

It's not clear to me how to add the email option if it is not enabled?  Is this feature not live yet?

@SwissVillage If the Email option is available for your collection - in the Collection Management (top right) click Zazzle email

Then fill in the Email Body Textemail option 

edit to add it only seems to appear if you have type Cross-Sell / Event Suite selected and more than 4 Recommended products

I don’t really understand why the email option would not be available to all collections. Am I missing something?

@PlayfulPixel I think it's only available if you choose the collection to be cross- sell option because it's an event/occasion ie - oh you've bought paper plates - do you need paper cups? Where as if it's a collection of say phone cases - you don't really want to send an email saying - oh - you've great taste but do you want to buy another phone case?

Thank you so much for explaining that! I had no clue why most of mine did not have email as a channel.

So business card shops do not have business cards included in Zazzle E mail channel?

@zehda email channel is only available for cross sell collections I believe.

What is the collection email option for? To provide a creator’s email address to Zazzle customers? Why creators want to do that?

@Jadendreamer13 it's for an email to be sent from the creator via Zazzle to the customer after a sale of one of the products to highlight other products in that collection maybe? Our emails won't be seen - it's a zazzle generated email. (or at least that's how I understand it)

I think I've figured it out.  It only seems to be available in the event or occasion collections.  I hadn't enabled any of those yet, since they required work.  Now that I've done one, I can see the email there.  I guess I'll just write a simple message thanking the client for their interest in my product and reminding them to visit the full collection - but it would be helpful to see what these emails actually look like.

@SwissVillage press the Preview Email and a copy is sent to you

That was my next question is the email response a thank you or is it to be used to promote the other products in the collection?  or a personal Thank you + you may be interested in these coordinating products...  I am not certain what the message should be

I like this idea and surprised myself by making a pretty good email message without really knowing how, or what to say!

I don't think it's right that it is limited to just cross sell/events.
