If I see something that I want to tweak, I have to go through a zillion steps to access the collection. Why can't the collection name be a link that takes us to the page where we can click "edit"? I would be so much more inclined to work on my collections if I could access them directly from the product page. An easier way to access them like the old collections would make a huge difference.

I agree. This new system makes it a real hassle to get to the full collection. I find myself keeping the collections screen open in a separate tab so I can more easily get to the one I want, but I still have to search for it in the list of collections, and it's just generally more confusing and cumbersome.

YES! But it's not just more difficult for us as designers to find the full collection. I've had multiple messages from customers since the new collections feature was released saying they're having trouble finding coordinating items.
It was a lot easier to find things when you could see every item in the collection on one page that you could simply scroll through (like the previous collections). Now customers have to click into and out of groups to find things. It's cumbersome.
The way the new collections are set up is very difficult to shop. It was MUCH easier to shop the collections when there was a LINK to the full collection on each product page.
I've been putting hours and hours of work into these new collections, only to see my sales drop. I'm sure this has to be one of the main reasons.
Just make this highlighted text a clickable link to the full collection (the old collection style where it's all on one page). Keep it simple.

I think many designers have asked to make this link clickable. I know I have! It would be so easy for Zazzle to do this and then easy for customers to see the entire collection.

Pretty sure I've requested it before too now that I think about it 😬. I just instinctively keep clicking there!

I agree. I think this whole new approach to Collections is dreadful; cumbersome and difficult to shop would be an understatement. I don't believe it was simply an oversight that the title isn't a hotlink. If they made it a hotlink to the actual collection page, then all the time & effort & dollars they've spent on designing & implementing the new pod system throughout the Zazzle experience would be for naught as shoppers could ignore the chaos and just ya' know, go straight to browsing the full Collection of products.

Oh, for sure. It's not an oversight.
There have been many times in the past that I spent a lot of time on a design. I'm excited and I think that people will love it and it will be a super success! But when I release it: crickets.
Sometimes you have to "kill your darlings" when the project isn't working out. It hurts, but it's better than trying to push and force something that just isn't working.

Agree with all of this! The shopper experience is definitely NOT optimized with the new collections overhaul. At least not yet. Maybe they're working on it. A simple, clickable link is 100% needed.

I agree that a link to the collection itself would be helpful, but I don't think they should throw the baby out with the bathwater. I've actually seen a BIG increase in sales of matching products since these changes were made, and I really love the collections pod beneath the product. I'm not entirely sold on collection covers yet, but I think it's mostly just that the way they're being implemented is confusing for the customer - like it's hard to tell which product you're actually looking at.

Yeah, maybe don't throw out the whole thing. But it's needs to be re-worked.
There are some things about the new collections that I love. (For example, I love that the collection is more visible when you scroll down on the product page, with a large collection photo, etc). But there's a lot of things about the new collections that aren't working so well and are confusing / frustrating for customers. I feel like it's way past time to fix those things that aren't working.

Just had another random thought in terms of making it easier for designers. If we could get some sort of a filter by collection feature on our backend products listing it would be SUPER helpful in terms of finding all of the products in a given collection in order to review stats, work on tags, covers, or what have you.

I just think the more access the better. I think the images and links to the products on the product page is great, but I also think that another link to more of our products would be really great too. It feels like an everyone wins fix and wouldn't compromise the work that went into revamping the whole collection situation.
