Praise for the new Collections system!

I know I've sounded critical lately, and I still obviously have an issue with Zazzle's favoring cover photos, but overall, I LOVE the new Collections system! I finally got to see it at work in the Marketplace, and FINALLY our matching products are FRONT AND CENTER, rather than having to scroll way down past "Other Designs" from other designers, and then HOPING that they actually show up properly! I like the fact that there's a link when you hover over the product image, to go right to the collection! I think showing the collection cover photo in with the product images might be a little confusing to customers, but it's not a bad idea.

I agree.. the collections Have 'come a long way Baby'..  (dating myself LOL )  I was like you.. PIA for the cover images etc..  still is ...  But wow.. they look great with this new collection format - so worth the effort - I Like the recommended products.. esp .. and say you Have a Save the Date and it is not showing up in the Save the dates but below in the additional products..  click on it and find out Why.. it's a matter of changing details and finding the proper  Marketplace Department  (HUGE thanks to Baylee for this information)  and it automatically slips right into the proper spot -  I'm sure this also helps customers find it in the MP as well..  Also Love the  email notice to customers as well.. Collections have really taken a front seat IMHO .. A HUGE amount of work to fix all the ones I currently have but   going forward hoping it helps sales -  Nice new addition Zazzle - Thank you! 

(Which BTW have  plummeted recently) anyone else seeing slower than usual sales?

My sales dropped significantly this week, but I think it's probably because of the upcoming holiday. Everybody's getting their last summer flings in!

I'm liking the new collections system, but find it a bit confusing in some respects. But I have also noticed that I could not find one of my collections when doing a search tonight, and I know I made it, as I have a tab open in my browser with that collection on it. Not sure what's up with that.

I agree I miss the ability to click on the collection and then edit it if need be. Now we have to go back to the collection page and hunt it down... I am sure as time goes on we will work out the bests ways to work but initially it is always a steep learning curve. I too like the new look and being able to see and work out what we have and haven't got is 😍 amazing. Still lots to do mind to get all my collections in order but hey when isn't there...

So glad it is working, it is so much work doing covers and getting a full collection together and looking good. It is great to hear it is worth the effort. I haven't broken in yet but, there is always hope when you hear it is possible 😊 Delighted for you ❤️ Did you do a video too?
