Hi everyone
On several of the products I've listed, I've been able to duplicate the front of the item's graphic (Christmas ornament) to match on the back. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I can't figure out what makes the difference. Does someone have a suggestion? I've tried adding the background somehow to a second layer, but am not able to create a second layer.

@Jack--Ariz If you chose the glass circle ornament - it's one sided printable only so the back won't show up in the preview. Some ornaments are double sided (ceramic) but the glass ones are only printed on the front.

Select the layer/s that you have placed on the front of the ornament then go to ‘edit’ top left drop down just above the layers, copy, and below that you will see ‘back’, then paste and the copies will be pasted on the back layer. I hope I interpreted your post correctly, and that this helps solve your ornament issue.

Don't know if you've been using the standard keyboard copy/paste to duplicate or using the "edit" as stated above, but sometimes it just doesn't work. Seems to be a "doesn't work all day" kind of thing for me, then the next day it's working again.

Here’s a little trick (I don’t know why it works, but it does every time): go to the Add Text tab, then type in any text (I usually type “A”), when your text appears in the design tool, delete the text. Now from the Edit menu the Paste command is no longer grayed out. Select Paste and there you go.

I think that you can get the paste function to un-gray by making ANY change. I usually switch the background to transparent and then back to its original color, and that's enough to re-set its little brain.

Hello Cat, thanks for your input on this. Now, how do I switch the background to transparent as you stated? I don't see that option. This interface is arrrrrgh!!
Now I have 2 copies of the front image; but the background, even though it shows on the left under "Layers," isn't appearing in the preview of the product. When I click on edit background, the only option I have really is to replace it, or upload a new one. Either way, it doesn't appear like it's supposed to on
the product.

What do you mean by background? If the background is one of your own files, I would not expect any problem at all, using traditional select all, copy and paste method, or selecting all your elements, and using the edit function on the top tool bar to copy those and then paste them on reverse. If on the other hand, you mean you are trying to use a background as selected from the Backgrounds tool button, this is more difficult, as it can be nearly impossible to find that particular background again after you copy and paste your own elements.
In any case, you will not be able to put up for sale, any item on which you have used one of the Background button items (except of course for solid color). Those backgrounds are created by other Zazzlers and can be used on product you will buy, but cannot be used on a product you will sell onsite.
I also do Postcrossing!

Hi all,
I don't believe there is any tech issue present here so I will be moving this to Create Products.
