Where is the option for tile sizing and design placement?

I have decided to try to use the tile option and make some items I have been avoiding.  The Zazzle help on this subject shows an option on the left "design placement" which does not appear in my design workspace.  And the directions talk about tile sizing and show on the right side of design area a box to put in your tile sizes.  No box like that appears or anything which would allow me to put in sizes.  Also, another question about tiling is, can you trust that what you are seeing in the preview is how the finished product will look like?  I have tried to tile something without having the box for sizing and the design placement option and my "trial" pleases me but not sure if I should be confident that it really would look right without having gone through those steps mentioned in the Zazzle directions for tiling.

@Shar-Ken Looks like they removed the option to specify a tile size. Perhaps add it to the suggestion box

you can reduce scale under formatting (not that it helps if you want your tiling to be a specific size though eg 2")

Sara_H, Thank you for taking time to respond to my question.  I do not have the same items on my design page as you show in the sample above.  No where is there the box where you put in a measurement (like 6x5 or something like that) and I do not have Formatting, selling options or effects.  I have tried to figure out how to tile off and on for a long time and always end up quitting because it never looks right.  I will keep at it on and off until one day maybe the lightbulb will go on!   Thanks again.  And if anyone else wants to chime in, please do.

You have to enable the tiling option - Basic (just found it myself - under effects it appears after you select the Basic tiling) and you are able to enter a size for your tile (eg  6x5 - click the "dimensions linked" icon before you do)

Sara_H.   I finally got the box for inputting measurements to show up--yippee!   You have been a big help.  I still have to practice doing tiles following your helpful directions but I will keep working at it. Thanks again for helping!
