We have made some updates to the design tool interface on the Desktop and Mobile Zazzle website. We hope these small but mighty updates will help make our user experience more enjoyable. These will also be rolled out soon to our apps.
Default User Interface (UI) Update: Bleed Mask
The default appearance of the design tool has been updated to having the “Bleed mask” set to off. We want to provide creators and customers with a UI that clearly shows the design area and is easier to use. But, if you prefer to work with the original version, you can toggle this off by clicking on “Settings” > “Show bleed mask” ✅. Want even better news? Your preferences in the Settings of the design tool will be remembered for your future sessions until you decide to change them. 🙂

NEW- White design canvas background
In the settings, turn off “Show transparency” to replace the checkerboard background with white. This is a purely aesthetic change, and does not add a “background color” to your design.

Did you know?
Some of you might have seen this already, but we also have a "Dark Mode" in the Settings that can help you design a product that has a Dark background!
