Showcasing your Designs in the best way possible is a priority for all of us. This is why we offer an array of merchandising views to choose from as your cover photo.
As part of your cover photo selection, we are asking our community to be considerate and thoughtful when it comes to apparel items. While we allow for all kinds of expression in designs, we recognize that pairing a design with an image of a person can be mismatched which can result in unintentional reactions. Oftentimes this occurs when designs are of cultural significance. Sometimes it can be in designs that are humorous in intent. We are a marketplace that is intended to celebrate the uniqueness in all of us- while we can’t claim to offer up a human model that matches the exact unique specifications of each of our millions of designs, we can provide a simple, elegant solution that is just as impactful- the lay flat/design front merchandising view.
This can now be achieved with a new option in our post for sale flow to ‘..not display any product images with people in them’, as shown below. You can also view this example product page, to see how it looks on site.
As the option states, this will remove all model options on the particular apparel product page, where it might not be appropriate to show.
We ask of you our dear community to be thoughtful and considerate when selecting the merchandising view that best presents your design. But when this isn’t possible, this option will help display your artwork in the most appropriate way.
We are working on our end for even more solutions to represent the uniqueness of our community of Customers and Creators; as Creators, we look to you for your sense of thoughtfulness, creativity, and humanity in making these decisions.
