Simple idea. I am using Google Analytics in the most basic sense possible. I am sure I could better at interpreting the information it presents. So as I learn things I'll pop it in here.
Please chip in with any ideas / suggestions / data interpretations you may have.
Note I am starting from knowing "didly squat" <---- "Nothing".😁

So I can see my views are climbing over the last 28 days. Nice simple start.
I also see that I don't have a regular busiest day the peaks are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and 2 Sundays. So will Sundays become a regular busy views day? So I guess I need to watch how sales relate to views.
Any other ideas?

This screen looks useful as I think it shows the top 10 viewed pages / listings in my Zazzle store. BUT, IS THERE MORE TO BE GATHERED FROM IT?
Anybody who understands Zazzle and Google Analytics please comment. I haven't a clue if there is more to be gleaned. Am I missing useful details or interpretations? 🤔
Red is where I have redacted my info.

Just a few points on this specific screen. You can have a view of the current day or any period of your choice through clicking on the dates on top of the graph. It allows to make comparisons, you can add more information with the little + sign displayed at the right of “page title and…” then if you choose geographic area, you can have the information of country region or city, you can also classify by platform, by sex, and many other choices that could be interesting to understand your audience.
On the home page you also have an interesting table on the right called “sessions by channel group” ( sorry if it’s not the exact translation, my google analytics is in French ) if you click on it it will display the acquisition data, show you what proportion of your traffic is organic… you can also change what is displayed by clicking on the top title of the left column and choose “source / session support” that will show you where your traffic comes from ( socials, search engine, organic or referral…)

Thanks, most useful. What do the blue ticks indicate? I have them but don't know what they mean.😁

It’s the visible lines on your graph. If you change the selection and click on plot rows button on top left, your graph will be updated.

The demographic details are interesting although I am not convinced they help me much with increasing sales. I have had a spike of activity from Singapore (Green line) that has skewed my data. As you may gather I have not had an increase in sales to Singapore! This fits in with talk on the forum of spikes seen by others.
I see if ignore Singapore my main interest comes from the US which is to be expected. Have I missed something I can learn from this data?

Just with this only line you wrote you can think about many different ideas: why don’t I sell in other places in the world, do I need to create designs less culturally US oriented , then what could I learn about other cultures, traditions, holidays and so on to propose them interesting designs. You can also try to focus more on the US market and improve your knowledge of the local population, minorities, traditions you ignored and so on, what are the marketing trending topics in the US , there are so many possibilities to consider ! This is the building of your marketing strategy. You may also ask you some questions like: if I focus on the US market, ( and in your niche if you have one ) is it not too risky, Is this sustainable in the long term? Will the demand from these customers for this type of product continue, or should I diversify? … GA only gives you data, it will never answer these questions for you. But you can use it to monitor the effects of changes in your strategy.

Some great points there. The niche will exist so long as we exist.😁 The trend is an interesting aspect to review, along with cultural preferences. The ability to see the effects / success / failure of new designs is useful.

My answer was just a short example of what it evokes to me in two seconds, but the points were absolutely not exhaustive, you should continue to think about it.
