Acrylic Invitation Cards

The new acrylic invitations are really nice, but are they biodegradable? If not, this product is not environmentally friendly, since once folks read the card and record the necessary info, in the trash they go. And would people order these as bulk orders of, i.e., 150 cards, or will they order paper cards for most guests, and then just a few—like for parents—that they will display as keepsakes?

I did have my first bulk order yesterday for 75 cards, so I guess there will probably be instances of both your scenarios.

We are going to target event planners both independent businesses and planners for organizations. There are events that many of the invitees will want to keep their invitations. Just to remind everyone here, one designer has been involved in contributing to celebrity gift bags for a major entertainment event. So, who says you couldn't sell an acrylic invitation to a major event. Of course, you have to create generic invitations to avoid trademark infringement.
