ChatGPT 30-day challenge

I asked ChatGPT to create a 30-day challenge to improve my Zazzle sales and visibility on the marketplace.
Here’s a sneak peek at some of the challenges it suggested:

Day 1: Analyze your existing product designs and identify the ones that are performing well. Use this information to create more designs that are similar to your top performers.

Day 8: Create a collection of products that all have a similar theme or design. This makes it easier for customers to find products they like and encourages them to purchase more than one item.

Day 15: Use social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook to promote your products and interact with potential customers.

Day 20: Experiment with different product types, like mugs, tote bags, and phone cases. This can help you identify new products that might sell well.

Day 29: Create a social media contest that encourages customers to share photos of themselves using your products. Offer a prize or discount to the winner.

It takes a bit of work to figure out how to tackle some of the challenges, but I'd like to try.
April 1st looks like a good day to start.
But I wouldn't want to do it alone.

Is there anyone else out there who would also like to try these challenges, discuss how to do succeed on Zazzle, and test if ChatGPT has any good advice on this?

An interesting idea to use ChatGPT.

Hopefully ChatGPT won't create a Zazzle shop of its own and follow through with its own suggestions! 😉

He-he... that would be interesting... 😄

Oh, I can't edit my post. 🤔
But anyway, if anyone is interested to join, welcome to the Facebook group:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/zazzle30daychallenge

The list looks as if it scanned things all over Zazzle's site. The one about a social media contest, however, is an odd one.

ChatGPT doesn't work exactly like that. It doesn't copy or gather information from websites. Yes, it is trained by millions of texts available in the Internet, but when it answers your question, it creates a new text based on the logic rules and linguistic relationships it has learned.
There are many interesting suggestions that marketing experts also recommend, so I'm willing to experiment to see if it works.
For me it's an interesting ChatGPT experiment and it would be bonus if it actually works and brings me some more sales. I would like to know if ChatGPT could help us with this.

Being fascinated by the idea of ChatGPT, I've considered playing with it, but it's also an appalling notion, so I probably won't. I have the same problem with AI art.

I think AI is a very powerful tool, but it's up to you how to use it.
When to make a very simplistic comparison, it's like a knife. You can use it to cut a bread or carve amazing woodwork with it, but you can also use it to kill someone. AI doesn't have a conscience or any moral sense, so it's only up to the user what it accomplish.

I asked ChatGPT to elaborate the 1st challenge. Here's what it said:
By analyzing your sales data and creating more designs that are similar to your top performers, you can increase your sales and visibility on the Zazzle marketplace.
  1. Look for patterns in your sales data to identify common themes or designs that are resonating with your customers. This can help you identify which of your designs are most popular and which ones you should focus on creating more of.
  2. Take note of the colors, styles, and themes that are most popular among your customers. Use this information to create more designs that are similar to your top performers, but with unique variations to keep your offerings fresh and interesting.
  3. Consider reaching out to customers who have purchased your top-performing designs to ask for feedback or suggestions for new designs. This can help you understand what your customers are looking for and what they might be interested in purchasing in the future.
Reaching out to customers wouldn't be possible, since Zazzle don't share their contact information. Unless they have contacted us first. But identifying top performers is easy.

Generally speaking, it's all standard, good advice, except for the contest/prize suggestion, which should only be offered if you already have a rather large audience you wish to reward. If your audience is small, you'll feel your prize is costing you money without any gain.

It could also be hard to get any entries if you've only sold a handful of things so far.

Please don't get angry on ChatGPT. It doesn't suggest to copy bestsellers, but to learn from them and create something unique. 🙈🤓

So far, this is the exact same advice (for day 1 and day 2) veteran POD designers have said since the beginning.

So, solid stuff so far.

Ai will be using our content to formulate the replies as part of its 'training' (I assume)

ChatGPT doesn't have access to the internet and its latest training data is from September 2021. But as far as I understand it can also learn from user's inputs. So, when someone tells all their latest Zazzle secrets to ChatGPT, it can use that information in answering others' questions.

ChatGTP says:

"As an AI language model, my responses are generated based on patterns and information present in the data I was trained on prior to my knowledge cutoff date of September 2021. This training data includes a wide range of text, such as books, articles, websites, and other textual sources".

Whatever this service claims, the questions I have asked, could only be derived from the web all be it prior to Sept 21.

Now I need to ask ChatGPT how to figure out keywords people are likely to use when searching my products.

Also try something like this...

ChatGPT, you're an expert in social media marketing, copywriting, SEO, and Zazzle product design. Almost all of the people following me on LinkedIn are boardgame designers and publishers. What product can I design on Zazzle that would specifically target and appeal to that group? Here's what "we" came up with...

Oh, great prompt! 👍

CreativeLeahG

You could have just asked it for popular boardgame designer quotes and memes:

  1. "Roll for initiative!"

  2. "All is fair in love, war, and board games"

  3. "I have a cunning plan"

  4. "That moment when you realize you've been playing a rule wrong for years"

  5. "Board games: bringing people together... to argue about rules since the beginning of time"

Another great prompt: "What are popular ... quotes and memes?" 👍
