Awesome- I’ve had customers ask about barware  beyond just beer pints and mugs. Great addition. Any possibility of someday adding printed as well as etched designs to all of those styles?

@PenguinPower , we have lots of printed glassware available here 😁

Oh - I know about those, but I had someone who really wanted a bigger selection - stemmed wine/port glasses etc. It would be nice to have some of the traditional stemware available for print too.

@Kaitlin will these be able to purchase on co.uk website please?

New styles have landed on co.uk! Mason jars are showing the 'discontinued product option' Hopefully once indexing is sorted that notice will go away?

Sara_H_1-1725049651472.png

It's in the correct department (or is it?)

editing to add

Also to note - it's not adding the type of glassware to the end of the title eg - stemless champagne flute/ stein /growler etc isn't being appended

also seeing the 'discontinued product option' on flutes/steins/stemless flutes but not on growlers/big steins

it'll settle down I'm sure but thought I'd report it if you didn't know already

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.  We are looking into it and should have things working properly soon.

PSA - unlike foil, the etched glassware only has two filters for your graphics - etched & solid

Sara_H_1-1724867084924.png

So don't try and use white graphics and try to invert it 😂 - use black

Would love to see the extra filters added please if possible but understand if this is a different process that doesn't handle it

@Kaitlin could you also put the dimensions on the product page please? Not sure how tall they all are. Thanks!

Some of the glassware options do not have the in situ images which really show off the etching, will they possibly be added later?

When I search for "etched glass" I see this:

@Anne  Search for "etched glassware". Most are old listings which are marked "Artisan Made" but new ones are popping up - the indexing has just been very slow for the last few days (lagging about five days behind for me).

Thanks, @MOM  However, whatever search term I try, I cannot find them. Maybe they lag behind because I am in Europe?

Hi Anne

I can see you're on the US site from your screenshot. It does appear to show you're not logged in though. Does logging in make a difference?

MOM

Oh yes, it seems (figuring from Sara‘s post) it might not be available yet in Europe? So sorry about that.

Hi @Anne , as others have said, indexing is a bit behind right now but these will hopefully surface soon. Thanks for your patience.

I really like these!

I've noticed that if you create a set of glasses, and then the customer uses the drop-down to select a single glass, they are only offered the design which is on the first glass. I wondered if it might be possible to let the customer choose from all designs in the set, to buy individually? For example if there's a set of two glasses with 'Mr' on one, and 'Mrs' on the other, they can opt to choose one glass with 'Mr' on, but not 'Mrs'. This also currently means that if they wanted 'Mrs and Mrs' they wouldn't be able to pick that combination by buying two of the same design.

Hi

PLEASE - why is it so complicated to find products if you are ready to design on them. If I go into 'create own product' type in "etched glassware" (your words) where are they? If I am busy in a  collection and I want to transfer design it is so frustrating. Please advise. These look stunning. I really do not want to follow the link you give here every time I would like to make new product. With all due respect, of course.

Hi @MeganTW , we always include a Create your own link in these announcements so you can easily start designing. Here it is again https://www.zazzle.com/pd/spp/pt-zazzle_etcheddrinkware 😁

Is there any possible way you could get the LIGHTER in situ image for champagne flutes to show the design better? I realize the white etching on the light background naturally wouldn't show up as well, but maybe it can be tweaked a bit to be less "realistic" but more visible? That lighter background would match my collections better.

I’m very happy to finally have the opportunity to design champagne flutes and wine glasses, much more adapted to any kind of celebration ! 🥳

@Kaitlin@James

"Wine Glass 16 oz Standard" ??? This can't be right. With just one glass of red wine I would drink my self in no time under the table, lol.

@MOM  I don't think these glasses are intended to fill to the rim 🙂
Red wine tastes much better in a big glass though, seems to have to do with the smell being better captured.
Cheers!

@AnneOh, I know that. Nonetheless I can not believe that a "Wine Glass 16 oz Standard" equals a "Pint Glass 16 oz" - it just really seems off and especially here since it's a narrow wine glass. But in any case I will order some glasses for my self - maybe I have to report here in a couple of months that I was totally wrong, lol.

Nice! Are the glasses available for use to customize and sell in our store? Thanks!

I wish that the design area on the wine glasses and champagne flutes was a little bit lower down so that the design wouldn't be so close to the top of the glass. I'm ending up only using the bottom half of the design area because I don't think it looks good to have the etched part so close to where people are drinking from it - I think it would be much better if the design area was centered vertically on the glass.

On the plus side, it's REALLY helpful that the design area is the same size/aspect ratio for all of the different options - that makes it possible for the user to choose whichever type of glass they want without messing up the design!

Agree. A better vertical centering would've been appreciated. Don't know if the printing position on the product can be adjusted, though. As you wrote, unfortunately, this means having to make the design smaller and off-center toward the bottom if you want it to be more centered. In this case, you would have to publish the affected glasses separately, or your off-centered design will be off-centered on the glasses with a better vertical positioning.

These glasses look awesome, and the accompanying video is extremely helpful in getting an idea of how they look in real. I have three suggestions to make:

1. When you sell sets AND single pieces at the customer's choice, it would be nice to give the customer the option to choose which one of the pieces he wants to buy, rather than just activating the first one. Not limited to the glasses. So if you have 2 glasses that can be designed and sold as a set or single, instead of the single (left glass) & set options, give the option to buy the a) left single glass/product b) right single glass/product c) whole set.

2. If it is technically possible, it would be nice if the etching position on the long glasses (flutes etc) would be a tad more centered vertically, actually, it's pretty top-heavy.

3. Make these videos public or make separate variants for the customers without the designing details explained. They are extremely helpful to get an idea of the products in RL. And since they look great, it will 100% boost the sales. I will definitely embed the videos on my website. The products are great, and so is their presentation by Alex.
