Creator Feedback: New Wax Colors added.

Quick question - I've got a lot of product lines that use the same artwork only in different colors. At the moment the way I've been handling wax seals is to just create one seal using the artwork, set the wax color to white, and then put that product in all of the different collections that use that artwork. It would be better if I could put a blue seal in the collection with the blue products, a purple one with the purple collection etc. But since the design is the same for all of the colors I can't figure out a way to do that.

Not sure if I'm making sense or not, but I'd love to be able to put different color seals in different collections - is there any way to do that?

@Cat I'm pretty sure if you select the purple one before you add it to the collection, the collection should see the one you added.

Then select the blue one and add it to your blue collection

Thanks @Sara_H - that sorta works. It does indeed make the one in the pink collection have the pink wax, BUT the problem is that in order to add it to a bunch of different collections each with a different color wax, I have to add it from the product page rather than from the back end, and when you add it to the collection that way, the preview image defaults to the stamp with no wax seal, so it sorta defeats the purpose, because the preview doesn't show the wax color unless the user clicks on it. Plus, if someone searches for the wax seal itself, it's going to pop up as part of the default collection - which may or may not be the color that person wanted. 

It would be ideal if we could create different versions with different colors of wax - like you can create different invitations of the same design but with a different background color. But I don't think you can do that with wax colors, since the design itself isn't any different.

Am I making sense?

@Cat sort of. When I want my chosen view - I always add it via the product page. 

You could create a singular one in the color you want and set it as this color only in the product merchandising for the specific color collections

There isn't an option to select 'this color only'

Why don't you try and make another listing in a different wax color and see what happens?

Or - Make a mockup that shows the color and select that as the view in the collection - that overrides normally

They could all auto group together anyway if you make separate listings

I love the turquoise. But we still need regular GOLD!!! That is so necessary for weddings! Navy blue would be great too.
