I'm looking for a customer-centric video or written tutorial for making changes to customisable products.
Background
I have created a product (a sailboat) with some objects are SVG files that can be customised by changing the colours. Some objects are fixed and uploaded as PDF files. Customers can also add their own custom text (e.g. a boat name).
I'm a very experienced user of graphics programs and have no problems with the designer - but I'm not so sure about the customers.
Additional questions
1. Is there a way to fix an object in position but still allow colours to be changed?
2. Is there a way to share a library of files (e.g. background images) that customers can apply to their custom design? - I can't see a way to share "My Files" with others except design collaborators.
3. Is there a way to create a fixed palette of standard colours that can be applied?
