Deleting Empty Stores

First, THANK YOU.  I have no ide when this became available, as I just stumbled onto it this morning. For all of us that have been asking for this forever, thank you, thank you, thank you 🙂 

I deleted several, but one says I still have products in the store (I do not) and it won't let me delete that one.

Yeah, I reached out over a month ago to ask them to delete them. They'd turned it over to the team to handle it. I asked for an update last week and they said they were investigating it.

I suppose they want to know why it's happening so they can fix it. I just want them gone. 🙄

Well, the empty shops have been deleted but so have 6000 products from an unrelated shop. I don't know if it's related or not but it really a huge coincidence they happened at the same time.

Nearly two years later and I still can not delete any stores. I stopped after trying the fifth one. There are quite a few others but it gets to be too time consuming and depressing. Always get cannot delete because there are products still in them.  I tried deleting banner in one that was made but that made no difference. I still am having trouble deleting categories that are empty in some of my good stores, I believe it is just a system bug that many of us have, Perhaps something from as far back as 2009,
