Only being with Z for a little over a year, this was the first time I have notice there was no discount at all.
Do you all think this is going to be the norm now or are they making more changes.
I hope not, the referral changes with all my sales being 3rd party is bad enough.
Thank you

Rena, the 15% sale shows on the product page, just under the product price. I am attaching a photo of one of your products to show where the discount is showing in red. I blurred out the product name for privacy.

I wonder if it's browser related? I use Google Chrome and Safari. Both browsers show the 15% discount in red under the price.

I'm also not seeing an automatic sale price today. It's a good thing though, because a store could run into trouble if they have everything on sale forever. They have to be able to show that they sell things at the full retail price, otherwise the sale price is the real price and they're misleading customers. The same thing happens at grocery; certain items are on sale 9 times out of 10, then you go one random week and it's the full retail price. Then next week, back on sale.

I noticed that too. When I do keyword research, “sale” comes up as a top Google search term. It might be Zazzle’s way of competing in that space.

When you buy your own items - if you do it correctly - you get the referral fee and no marketing fee deduction. So that is the same thing as an “employee discount.”

I would love for an perfect explanation for this because I have yet or some of the ones that use my affiliate link to get what they are suppose to get or they get nothing at all since all the changes. They have emailed and called.
Thank you very much.

@Rena There are no discounts for designers directly but you can make savings by keeping an eye on the coupon page https://www.zazzle.com/coupons and https://www.zazzle.com/offer+details#primarypromo
Those pages change with the different % discounts and special offers on particular products throughout the year (also include products that won't be on offer too)

Yes I knew that you didn't get discounts as a designer and I am signed up for the free shipping to get the 30% off discounts and they are even coming farther apart than they did when I first started.
But they are not showing any discount on what every I open up today. Friends are saying the same thing but I tried what @DancingPelican suggested with putting int the August15 code. If someone doesn't know that just like a regular customer then they may not purchase and think I will come back later for the % off. Some may and some may not.
thank you

Hi, Rena.
The amount of frequency and discounts has absolutely changed since the terms update in April. I don't mention everything in my latest video, but I do have a few. I have a short series about saving money on Zazzle. I'll link it below if you're interested.
Since April, I have definitely noticed periods when a lot of items have no discount. I have also observed that 15% off seems to be the lowest when there is a sale (prior to April, 20% was the low I noticed most often).
On the other end, I have noticed with few exception that a lot of items are not going on deep of a discount as they used to. I haven't run all the numbers, but my overall impression is that many "top reductions" have are now 10% lower than they used to be.
Right now, the site seems to be pushing discounts to email subscribers (obviously good for the cookie game) as well as Zazzle Plus subscribers (there is another Zazzle program, but I'm not in that one, so I don't have stats).
If you are interested in my observations, my two most recent videos regarding saving money on the platform as well as Early Black Friday deals may be helpful. The early sales are over, but I think there is still a lot of valuable information you may find useful for your planning as a designer, as well as if you are like me, and like to tell your friends and customers when it's "go time" to get the best deals on the platform. 😄
Here is my updated video on How to Save Money on Zazzle for 2025. This will also get you to my channel and the playlist with other videos you may find useful. 😄 https://youtu.be/hRVzmskyxw8?si=gVPl5nWBZUoNRBsJ
