Awesome. I have created doormat designs with a simulated coir texture. Now I can move those designs to the real thing!

The colors look pretty washed out on the mockups, but in the video they look like they might be brighter on the 2 colorful ones.  Obviously the nature of the fibers causes the color intensity to be lost, but I would love to have the links to the ones in the video so I could compare the mockup to what we see in real life on the video.

eta- looking thru the mp and snooping in the design tool on some designs, some of them look decently bright.  I think it may just be all in choosing the right colors and really bold designs.  More neutral tones or pieces with a lot of white get lost.

Conclusions I draw from this comparison:

  • Black comes out dark blue-ish
  • Cyan looks very pale
  • Don't put white on cyan

That was super helpful, thank you!

So things look way better in real life (even with colors dulled as to be expected with the material) than they do in the previews where they've gone too heavy on the orange/brown tone over-compensating for material color. I hope they adjust the previews, the difference is pretty extreme; the preview of the Halloween one looks nothing like the printed version in the video.

I just have created one for my self too (https://www.zazzle.com/z/n04qcnr8?rf=238748736489762753). I played around with colors until I liked it and well, I like it so much that I might buy it for my self. I have noticed that white and some blue tones (cold colors) almost totally vanish. But what a great item!! Thank you Zazzle.

Thank you!  That is so helpful.  It's almost like the Z mocks have a sepia filter over them.  I thought the ones in the video looked nice.   Agree with @ColsCreations and hope they adjust the mockups so they will be more appealing in the MP.

Agreed. Black looks brown and has to be confusing to Zazzle customers.

it might be nice to see larger sizes and shapes as well, to parallel those merchandising options offered by the welcome/door mats.

Agreed. These doormats are too small.

I have a simple black and white design and the mockup displays the coir mat as...brown and tan? I used the background option to make the background black and the type is set to white. What's happening here?

Why does black look brown on the mat.  Will it print black. How is everyone doing their mockups on simple black designs?  Are you doing them black or mocking the brown text shown on Z?
