@James Any chance of dimensions please on the product page?

Stemless wine glass: W 2.8" x L 3.2" x H 3.4"

Rock glass W 3.14" x L 3.14" x H 3.46"

Soda Can glass 3" Diameter x H5.5"

I will request for these to be added to the description.

Thank you.

thank you!

Could we please have a soda can glass with an insitu that shows a more neutral color of the contents inside it? The pink liquid color that is currently shown often clashes with our designs. Perhaps an insitu with a ginger ale type color would be ideal. Thank you!

It's been months and still the dimensions for the soda can glass has not been added to the product description. It would really be helpful to customers if they had this info. Thanks!

Hi @northwestphotos,

Thanks for your feedback here. I will share both points with our team here so that they can take a closer look for you.

All the best,

Pádraig

Another note - 'transfer this design' transfers to the back of the rock glass and not the front - can easily swap it but it would be nice it if transfers to the front in the first instance

Thanks!

I was really happy to see the generous design area on these new glasses .... a full wrap-around and decent top-to-bottom coverage as well. Having the option of purchasing a single glass or multiples is also fantastic. Thanks Zazzle!

Hi @James

What is the printing process for this glassware? Etching, sublimation, etc. ?
Are they dishwasher safe or should they be handwashed only?

Thanks!

Fiorenzo
Valued Contributor II

Handwashed only and not microwave-safe. It's mentioned in the product description. The prints look stunning, crisp and vibrant, and white is printed. Watch their video on YT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ojbsay-Nvhw

Pricing is confusing.

Single defaults to base price, but states PER DRINKWARE SET (one is not a set)

OH ... now I see ... a set size of 1 , 2, or 4 is only available on create. After posting the buyer can select the number of sets: Qty 2 of a single set would be 2 glasses, Qty 2 of double set would be 4 glasses, and Qty 2 of a 4glass set would be 8 glasses.

So James' post about filtering to the set designed for  makes sense - where is this done???

Sara_H
Honored Contributor III

@BKMuir when you are posting for sale under options

Sara_H_0-1708031255197.png

or if you forget (like I did)- go to edit- product merchandising- change options - select this set count only- click done to save

Marketing idea for these glasses and the stemless wine tumbler thermoses that have been discussed in the forum but not officially introduced

The tumblers made me remember the Jello parfaits that I made when I first started cooking.  I poured a layer of Jello in glasses and tipped the glasses in the refrigerator. After they gelled, I poured a layer of a different color Jello and tipped them in the opposite direction. The third layer was gelled flat. You can put whipped cream between the layers.

You can also create McDonald's style yogurt parfaits. https://www.soloyal.co/blog/deep-dives/what-happened-to-mcdonalds-yogurt-parfait

That led me to thinking about using the tumbler thermoses for taking parfaits to work, hiking, or other outdoor activities. They could also be used for cottage cheese, yogurt, and other refrigerated lunch items. Then, I remembered using thermoses for soup. It finally occured to me that the larger thermoses could be used for smoothies.

I hope this helps marketing these items to increase sales of them for all of us.

Sorry I don't have time to read all the replies but: isn't there a bulk / volume discount available for this product?

Truly impressed. I've seen the video and the prints are amazing. Just beautiful. Love also the full-sized print area and that you can put different designs on the sets. Great addition.

The light colored text appears to adopt a fine black outline once applied to the mockup. Will the text on the final product have a fine black outline?

Fiorenzo
Valued Contributor II

No. If you watch the video, you'll see that the design is printed on a white underlay to make white and light colors not be semi/transparent. As on dark apparel. It's done for displaying purposes so you see the contours of your light texts and objects (happens also to shapes and transparent PNG). Already suggested to replace this with a preview of a filled glass to use in such cases.

I watched the video, my eyes must not be as good as yours, but I did not see a white underlay. Thanks for being so observant. 😉

My concern is the outline the customers see in the mockups and so I am glad you addressed the concern in more detain in your post.

Fiorenzo

Look at the backside of the prints:

Yes, I have the same concerns. I would add glasses filled up with darker liquid, e.g. red wine and coke, and without insitu-scenery for a genuine on-the-fly depiction of design and text edits.

Is their a reduced royalty rate for the sets?

Fiorenzo
Valued Contributor II

@James I would get rid of the grey outline on white/light text colors, this is confusing and misleading. Add a preview of a filled glass instead that can be used for such cases. The insitu are also too distracting and the glasses can be barely seen, plus on some pics, the glasses look cut & pasted on the surface, with a strange perspective. I would highen the contrast of the glasses' contours to make them pop out a bit better, and use calmer backgrounds. Just a few thoughts. Cheers!

Edit: the outline issue applies also to transparent PNG and shapes. Please remove it or add a note that it's for displaying purposes and doesn't get printed.

having an odd problem, not sure what I'm doing wrong. I was trying to do a set of 2 stemless wine glass for a wedding couple with the bride's name on one and the groom's name on the other and for some reason this is not working, the same name appears on both glasses even if I add each name separately. This just seems like something that would be a feature that you would want on a wedding set, rather than to make each glass completely separately rather than as a set. The problem may of course be entirely on my end...if anyone has any tips on how to do it I would appreciate it. Thanks

Fiorenzo

Works fine here, it must be on your end. You are probably working on the wrong layer and/or using the same URL parameter name on both texts if you're working with text templates. Use the front/back/full layers for your first glass and the front2/back2/full2 layers for the second one. If you use text templates, make sure that you define different URL parameters for the names, e.g. text1 and text2 (default) or "name-bride" and "name-groom". Whatever, just differentiate.

Hi everyone, we did discover the grey shaddow-like lines on plain text in the realviews and have since fixed them.

Thank you so much!

Sara_H
Honored Contributor III

@James can you fix them for the thermal tumblers too please or is that by design?

Nice addition to the drinkware line! I created a couple of sets yesterday and everything worked well.

This must be a bug:

Create a set of 2.

After you create a set of 2, change the product to "set of 4". The 2 new glass will be shown with no image printed.

@almdrs to stop this happening - you need to set the Product Merchandising to 'this set count only'

Sara_H_0-1708801029729.png

and then only a set of 2 with your designs on will show and the other blanks won't.

I think it says this in the official post

I "solved" it by creating a set of 4 first.

Anyway, I think the images should be automatically transferred to the new glasses when upgrading the order to a set of 4.

Has this product been pulled? I made numerous designs and was updating one today and got a ‘Whoops’ page redirection, and now they are all gone.

BKMuir

I had two classes "missing" from my store yesterday - Today (3/6/24) they are back. Yeah!

BadLands

Same for me.  All the glasses reappeared last night.

What are the dimensions for the artwork areas?

igiftcenter
Valued Contributor

Never mind... I see it appears now. I did not see it when I first started creating a few

Still no answer yet if there is discount pricing for added sets ordered? No dropdown price discount appears.

8 of my wine glasses are missing from one of my shops - all of them are the ones with custom covers and/or videos

Hi James,

Suggestion for Can Glass: I’d love to see a mock-up option with an iced coffee filled Can Glass! Very trendy, and helps to show the white designs on a darker liquid background than the current lighter options where white artwork becomes invisible.

I’ve been searching online for these mock-ups but even with paid options everyone seems to include a wooden lid or a slightly different product, which would be misleading for Zazzle customers. I hope it can be considered 🙂
