“Glitter” designs on fabric products…

Hello!

I was wondering if anyone has physically seen in person a faux glitter design on any of Zazzle’s soft line products like bags, pillows, or shirts. I’d love to know how it turned out, if you’d design these kinds of products/ buy again. Photos would be phenomenal if you have or could take one.

Thank you so much!

Amanda

A CMYK preview will show how the design will print.

Hoping I'm allowed to "bump" a message? It's been about a week. Thanks for your help!

I ended up caving and buying one of my accessory bags with at least a glitter detail. I would like to review this aspect a little more specifically in the future, but the video was getting WAAAAAAAY too long.

If, however, you want to "see" it in real life, you can check out the video. I hope you'll watch the whole thing of course, lol, but if you'd like to skip to the glitter, it's the pouch that begins around the 10-minute mark.

If you find it helpful, I hope you may make a comment or give it a like. This is my first Zazzle video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUSKgFq_TAE . I tried to be very thorough and to provide some true help for creators who are designing accessory bags.

Sincerely,

Amanda

I just watched your video; well done! It's really a shame that the preview doesn't match the actual product. I believe you also answered your original question regarding the glitter :-). If I'm not mistaken, your gold butterfly is a glitter design?

It is! 😄
It was just too cute on screen that I had to see it. I like how it turned out, but I think people need to know what it really looks like printed. I'm thinking "speckled" is probably a better descriptor than "shimmery" or "sparkly." The light and dark does come across, though, and I think it's attractive overall. 🙂 This makes me very happy, especially because it's a gift! lol

Now I want to see a glitter design on smooth paper products and glossy products. I'm hoping someone will share some. I created a new post in "Show Me," but it hasn't received a ton of traction. I noticed shortly after that the original posts in that section were mostly created in 2022, so that might be my issue! 😄

Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment here. If I do end up ordering some other "glitter" items, do you think a similar video would be helpful to you as a creator?

Sincerely,

Amanda

You're very welcome 😊

I have very few glitter items in my designs, so I'm probably not the target audience for similar videos but if you're going to order more "glitter" items anyway and you enjoy making these videos then go right ahead! I'm sure there are creators out there who will find them helpful.

Cheers, Marion

Thank you so much. 🙂

I wouldn’t typically have much in my store with glitter, but I was having so much fun with it for a few Mother’s Day designs!
Thank you!

Ohh! I will try that. I didn’t even think of it. Thank you!

it’s funny you picked this image. I’ve used it in a previous design! Lol

Thank you again!

I have a new video out today with a few tips for visualizing glitter on fabric WITHOUT having to purchase a product. 😄
I hope you will find it helpful! (And I'd love your thoughts on the techniques presented, or if you have any of your own to suggest. )
