Google Logo Use - Copyrighted - Does Zazzle have permission to use this?

Hi

I just checked the use of the Google logo as I was hoping to use it on some products and note there are over 27,000 items on Zazzle using the Google logo/name. However according to Google it appears we can't use it without permission from Google so I am wondering given the number of products here featuring the Google logo, if Zazzle itself has obtained special permissions. Here's hoping!!

A bit further down the page Google themselves clarifies:

Product icons

In most cases, you’re welcome to use our icons in your materials, but make sure to keep the relationship between our products truthful and clear.

You may use small depictions of our Google product icons for educational or informational purposes to indicate that your product or service integrates with, is designed for, or is related to a Google product or service – but you can’t imply affiliation with or endorsement from Google.

As always, if you find a product in our marketplace that you feel is inappropriate then please report it. We do offer phone cases for the Google Pixel, so that may be a decent chunk of the search results that you're seeing.

Thank you! I am excited to be able to use the logo.

I didn't report it Scott because the wide use suggested it was possible (but not from what I knew myself) and as I suspected it is! I wouldn't use it myself without checking when my own research suggested 'not to do so'. I play safe.

As your team is aware I do 'use report' when I am 'sure' something isn't appropriate. There's some very inappropriate adult content presently and I am waiting for a response to those reports.
