Hi, I am so upset at the moment. A few minutes ago I received 27 back to back emails from Zazzle letting me know that there was a problem with the products from one of my collections and that they were going to be removed "shortly". Since I have the rights to all the images used on my design I thought the problem must be on the title, description or tags. The only thing that I can think could be causing a problem is that I used the tag "very peri purple". In less than 5 minutes all the products were deleted!! so I didn't have a chance to make the simple tag change.
I sent right away an email reply to Zazzle's content review team but it did not went through. I got an email back letting me know that the Zazzle's content review team mailbox is full and can't accept messages now. Please try resending your message later, or contact the recipient directly!
I keep receiving emails as we speak, I guess the entire 37 products from the collection are getting removed! Can I please get a Zazzle moderator help me out. I took a huge deal of work and time to create all these products, I really hope there is a way to retrieve them and change the tag which would take a few minutes for each product.
Thanks in advance for your understanding, help and guidance.
For everyone else: please don't use "very peri" purple tag. I thought it would be fine as is been widely used on Pinterest and internet. I have even seen invitations with "very peri" on their title!

Hi everyone, thank you for all your comments. I recently heard back from Zazzle and it was indeed the "very peri" purple tag that caused the issue. I will be extra careful with the tags I use from now on.
Just wanted to let you know, in the hope you don't experience this problem.
Thanks again for all your comments and support.
Have a wonderful weekend!

I would guess most of us have had something removed at one time or another, but to have so much of your work
removed has to be disheartening! I agree with what someone else asked : why can't we be told at the time of removal why something is being removed without us having to engage in time consuming (for. us and for Zazzle) back and forth about why. And even better would be if they did not remove the design initially but instead made it hidden and give designers a chance to correct the error rather than essentially throwing out all the hard work and time that has gone into the design. Besides, many times it is just something in the tags that gets a design removed and that is easily and quickly remedied.

This happened to me in January- at the beginning. About 250 of mine were deleted, about 30 were because of the tag related to the same thing. That company, Pantone, just asked for Zazzle to not use their name or color names this year. You might also want to check to see if anything else was deleted. A ton of mine were, but at least the technical team was able to put them back up online.

It is possible to have items reinstated if a 'mistake' has been made on Zazzle's behalf. I've had this happen, and the removed item was later reinstated when I was able to demonstrate no infringement. BUT that is only if there is no infringement. I am not aware of anything being reinstated if it requires any edits.
I expect Zazzle can't 'give us time to edit' for the simple reason, that legally they have to remove the infringing content immediately not give Designers however long it takes for them to edit the item, then Zazzle staff have to monitor it to see if it gets done, some Zazzler's might just republish. They do I imagine have many thousand infringements daily.
Regarding those brands reporting their trademarks have been breached and their levels of patience: I and a couple of other Creators here have fellow Designers using our names in the tags. Do I want to wait around for them to 'do the right thing'? NO. I have zero tolerance because they have zero excuses. My name is a registered brand to ensure speedy no quibble removal.

Regarding one of my products, I received such an email indicating that it was going to be removed. I immediately saved the product as hidden. zazzle has shown me an image, I changed the image and posted again, it was removed again - this time they showed me another picture. I sent an email and it was explained that it could be a tag. I realized what it was and I solved it, always based on the article saved as hidden.
Since then, I keep at least one article from each collection/design as hidden, that's the solution I found.

@chriiisss Since you started doing this, have you had any of the public products removed for which you have a hidden duplicate and was that duplicate untouched? I'm asking this only because, several years ago, I had a product removed because of a tag, but in addition to deleting the product, they also removed the artwork from My Images even though the artwork infringed on no copyright or trademark. Luckily, I always have backups of my artwork, so in this case, I was able to quickly reproduce the product (without the offending tag).

I have products that are cornflower blue or periwinkle, and described as such, but those also the descriptions Zazzle gives in their color picker...?
