Hello,
My store rank is 6, I have 260 products, decent names and tags and when I search in Zazzle my products don’t show. I even narrow my search with more specific tags and still nothing. Does it just take time?
even when results window is narrow like 43 results mine aren’t there.
what am I doing wrong?
Thanks

I went into your store to experiment with finding your products and immediately noticed a problem. You have many, many products with text the customer is supposed to change (all invitations are like this) but in none of them is the text set to template. So even if a customer found your product they wouldn't buy it because they would have to go into the design tool to change the text rather than just retyping into a text box on the product page. Here is what you should do before you make any more products.
1)Open the product page of a product where the customer is supposed to change the text to their own. This includes all invitations and any products that use the customer's name.
2)Go into the design tool and click on the text the customer needs to change. On the right side of the screen, scroll down until you find "make this text template" and move the slider to green. At this point it's also a good idea (but not mandatory) to change the text field from Text1 (the default) to Name or Date or whatever the customer is supposed to fill in.
3)Do this for all the text that the customer needs to change.
4)Go back to the product page. There should now be a personalization section on the product page where the customer can type in their text. There should also be a Sell It button.
5)Click Sell It and go ahead and keep everything the same but here is also a place to change tags. If you had any tag saying "invitation" (or "mug" or whatever), delete that and put in something else. Don't use the product type as a tag.
6)Go into your back end and delete the original product.
Anyway, on to the tags. I was able to find your Twin Girls Pink Elephants With Sunflower Wreaths invitation via the tags twin girls baby shower pink elephants. Likewise I was able to find cute pastel pink and teal floral wrapping paper with the search for pastel pink teal floral wrapping paper. I found T Shirt For Little Horse Lovers with the search t shirt for little horse lovers. That's 3 for 3 so I'm confident that the rest of products are also found in search. Bear in mind that once you have entered the terms, you must then drill down to your specific product type under the Category drill down.
Also bear in mind that it was taking me 3 or more tags (that I knew you had) to find your product. In some cases the tags fit well enough but there was so much competition that I had to go up to 4 tags before I narrowed down to where yours were. In the horse t shirt case, you need to remove the tags warm, clothes, top, logo, fashion and add red, animal, equestrian and any other horse lover terms you can google up.
Your products are in the MP and findable with search but you have to make that text template and you should remove all product type tags (like "clothes") and replace them with tags that are more specific to the design.
I hope this helps. I know I just handed you a big to-do list and things may seem overwhelming but I hate to see you put in all that work of creating the products just for them to go unnoticed because of tags or unsold because of non-template text. It's a lot to do but ultimately worth it.

Thank you so much for your help. I had no idea about the product page and text. I thought customers will go into design and change it themselves. Is it too late too modify the existing products now?
Thank you again

Unfortunately you can't modify existing products (although you can change their tags). Following the steps I outlined actually creates a new product. That's why you need to go back and delete the original one.
Technically customers can go into the design tool and change the text but they won't; not when there are pages and pages of invitations or mugs with names where they don't have to. The easier you make it for customers, the more likely they are to buy.

Honestly I asked them about why my creations haven’t been approved and posted. It had been 3-4 days. Oh it can take up to 72 hours BUT they are having issues soooo…. Yeah fix it! Fast! Grrr
