I was just hit with some remarks that make me question what I am doing. So I decided to ask for others opinions. As you look at the collection I posted, the issue is not the design motifs themselves because it wasn't about these motifs. The issue is how they are placed on the various products such as wallpaper and tablecloths. What I got was a remark that, "They haven't sold yet." Part of the issue was lack of heavy promotion, but part of it was insinuating that the customers didn't like them the way they were. So, am I stuck in an outdated time warp? The products being discussed may not have been promoted heavily yet, but they are in the MP competition. So, please tell me what you think.

When you’re looking for something to buy online, you enter your specific search terms, and then you are presented with your results.
You start to scroll through the results until something stops your scroll, and you investigate further.
What was it that stopped your scroll?
The title? Nope.
The tags? Nope.
The design? Yes.
Look at your competitors on your search results. Does your design measure up? If not, why? Your answer lies right there.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for the answer. I did go through the first 10 pages of wallpaper, nursery wallpaper, and tablecloths. Nothing that I have done was in there, but I couldn't form a real opinion by comparing. I think I was just sucker punched. This person knows that we are still trying to fix things after an issue with Social Security. We are concerned about if there will be an issue next month. So, all I want to do is find something to make money hand over fist and that isn't Zazzle especially if you're creating horrible designs. We gotta get through next week and get our Social Security deposited as it should be and then decide if we spend another second on Zazzle.

When I searched on “pinecone tablecloth,” I got 72 results, and two of your designs are shown on page 1. You can then compare your design with the other designs available, and adjust or improve your design to make it more competitive. Keep in mind, though, that customers are probably not searching for winter, Christmas, or holiday decor in April (maybe for Christmas in July).
Zazzle has created a product creation spreadsheet/calendar that guides designers on when to create and post new designs based on upcoming events and holidays. You might find that helpful.

Thank you. That does help. I think mine looks heavy and I think I do have the ability to rethink the design. Being more specific about what I'm comparing helps me more. We are going to do this with all our designs.
I wrote this at the same time that I responded to Snow Owl Moon but it apparently saved and didn't post.

My honest opinion is that the "pinecones in snow" images on the napkins, etc look unbalanced. It looks fine on the pillow, but when it's tiled, it seems the layout is not balanced on side to side or top to bottom. You also have small motifs with large blank spaces between them. What I would do is try to tile the entire image, the way I did on this wrapping paper.
The other designs--kids' trains and trucks--are cute, but not outstanding, IMO. Try and punch up the colors, add a simple background, etc. The Sunshine Super Sunflower is nice as a pillow . . . I don't like the text on the wallpaper (just my personal preference), and again you have a lot of blank space between the flowers. Place them closer together. The red background almost overpowers the flowers; you might try a lighter color as a background.
Just my two cents worth.

This has also gotten me to rethink the design. We are looking at eliminating the solid dark green background and blend the design better

First of all, as someone who has sold lots of wallpaper with my designs elsewhere, but has yet to have a single wallpaper sale here, I wouldn't worry too much about your designs. My designs are good, but Zazzle does not seem to be the place for wallpaper buyers. At least not yet. Hopefully that will change.
Second, with wallpaper and other home decor items color is so important. I would include as many color names as I could in title, description and tags. For example I looked at one of your Iris wallpaper designs. The word purple was there, but I would also include lavender and yellow. You might even want to try to work in some variations like eggplant and lilac.

Honestly, the collection is confusing. The title and description specify wallpaper, but then there are a bunch of other products mixed in. Also, the designs are too disparate to look cohesive.
As far as the designs themselves, especially the pine cones, the tiling just doesn't work.
