New "Frequently bought together" scroll on product pages - probably a beta test?

Noticed this today on a product page while viewing some search results. It's a new scroll panel that comes between the "other designs you might like" and "other products from this collection" ones. This one had two products; same design by same designer in same Collection as the main product. OK, cool. Found another one tonight, this one shows three products; different designs, all different designers. Not so sure yet how I feel about that.

I looked for it but couldn't see it on any sample products I chose so it must be beta test.

I think it's a test. I've seen it a few times a while back. With 2 more products, not all mine 😞
And also not very likely to be bought together 🙂

If it's a test, it's been around for a while- I noticed it at least since last fall. It doesn't show up under all products though- only certain ones.

Wow! Surprised I haven't stumbled on this before, than. But on the other hand it makes sense. If it's truly showing things actually bought together, then those things have to actually have sold, and sold together in one order, AND relate to the main product on the page. Which really limits what this scroll could appear on and what could be included in it. But if it appears on one of your products, that's a pretty good tip-off to other products you should probably create.

I have seen it for a long time. It doesn't feel like a test. I think you don't see it regularly unless you have groups of products that sell together frequently. I love it. I have one collection that has 6 to 8 products that are in that section. It is also interesting when my products are shown with other Zazzlers' products. Customers do like to mix and match!
