I received a 4 star comment on a poster:
I love my poster. I was able to customize the print and the size and style. It was easy to use and very accurate. I arrived quickly and on time. The only thing I would change is the frame they sent with it. It seemed to be glued together and some of the black color on it comes off. But other than that its beautiful. I will purchase other custom products on here again.
When she says frame, is that part of the packaging? If so, I thought Zazzle would like to be aware of this.
Also, I was wondering... If someone orders a (real) frame for their poster, do we get royalties on the frame?

I've ordered posters in the past so unless it's a new thing - they don't put any kind of frame with the poster unless you pay for it and they are fairly expensive - so if I were this customer I'd return a frame that wasn't acceptable. In my experience they roll the photo up and put it in a tube to mail if being mailed alone. Glad she loved your poster!

Hi @inspiring_gifts ,
Customers have the option to select a frame as an add-on when purchasing posters. If the customer elects to add a more expensive option to their product (such as a frame, easel, rounded corners on paper products etc), these add-ons are paid at a fixed rate of 5%.
Regarding the issue with the frame, these can be replaced no problem if the customer reaches out to our Customer Service Team. 🙂

Thank you all for your feedback. Was confused by the comment regarding the frame - I thought it was part of the packaging.
Emma, from my understanding, you are saying we should receive a 5% royalty for a frame (if that is what she added) but according to my records I earned .96 for my $12 poster at 10% with a 3rd party - does not look like I made any royalties from a frame.
Because this was a comment and not a message, it doesn't look like I can inform her about reaching out to Customer Service (I know Zazzle has a great reputation about returns) - but according to her comment she seems satisfied despite that.
Was just trying to understand things, and wanted to bring to your attention so we can make customers 5 stars happy 🙂
