I was scrolling through leggings at marketplace today and discovered that there is a blind spot in the mockup designs and that blind spot is probably costing creators sales. When leggings are shown styled as activewear / fitness the customers may scroll past thinking “I have enough workout gear” I am not sure why creators don’t show the legging or tank top in different mockups such as a casual shopping at the mall or work at the office look. In my opinion I think showing the mockups styled with different fashion looks would help sell the top or legging. (Attract another customer) not just activewear. Isn’t it better to sell a possibility, with your mockup by showing them “this legging isn’t just activewear” In my opinion I think you might sell more leggings and tank tops if you showed the customer how to put together the casual, business, or date night look. ( I am adding 3 fashion look mockups to products to show customer how to create a unique style) I want to create a need for a product, I want to sell style, plus active or jean looks. Not sure if this should be in Technical or Ideas or Ask a Question so parking it here. "throw pillows" have three size choices of 16x16, 20x20, or lumbar 13x21. But there's a separate listing for "accent pillows" which are 12x16. To me "throw pillow" and "accent pillow" are interchangeable terms, both meaning a decorative pillow as opposed to a bedding pillow. But whether you search for just "pillows" (1,235,757 results) or use the Site Map link to Home & Living --> Pillows (440,365 results), the category options offer no distinction for throw or accent. And no combination of Category choice and other filters let me narrow it down by size. It has Nursery, Outdoor and Indoor as shapes?? Wouldn't 'nursery' be a theme and outdoor/indoor be fabric choices? "throw" vs "accent" seems like an arbitrary distinction based on sizes that customers have no way to search/sort/narrow down by. There should be a size filter for pillows, and at very least, a choice in the main Category filter of Throw or Accent since Zazzle has them separated as two different product types.

While logged out I went to see what it would be like for a customer to personalize a product. It is way to cumbersome and time consuming, just to edit text they are taken into the designer page and when they are done they need go through several pages until they get to the buy page. It was way easier and faster before where the customer could edit text right from the product page and if they wanted further customization they could click a customizing button. If I was a customer I would not bother with it and I'd just go buy somewhere else.

Lifestyle mockups and lifestyle advertising have been around for decades. This isn’t some new invention or hidden secret that only a few know of. it’s a practice that’s been taught in fashion merchandising schools, used in catalogs, and refined in every era of product presentation. From department store window displays in the 1950s to styled magazine ads in the 70s, lifestyle imagery has always been about one thing: helping customers imagine themselves with the product. Fast forward to today, and POD sellers are just continuing that tradition in digital form. And here’s the truth: nobody should be paying to learn how to do lifestyle mockups. The information is already out there, free and accessible. A quick Google search will bring up millions of “how‑to” guides, templates, and tutorials. What really makes lifestyle mockups successful isn’t the technical side it’s the ideas and prompts behind them. Talking with other POD creators, sharing what settings work (cozy home scenes, outdoor adventures, styled fashion shots), and swapping prompts is often the best way to learn. Community conversations spark inspiration that no single class can capture. I have another discussion at the community forum where creators are sharing what free AI’s are best for mockups, what prompts work, and problems that they are having. It’s a great discussion because we are helping each other. That is how you learn more about lifestyle mockups. I searched online for the historical timeline of mockups through the years and this is what I found…sharing just for fun. 1950s–1960s: Department store catalogs and window displays staged products in lifestyle scenes. 1970s–1980s: Magazine ads and fashion shoots leaned heavily on lifestyle imagery to sell products. 1990s: Digital tools like Photoshop made polished mockups easier to create without full photo shoots. 2000s–2010s: E‑commerce marketplaces adopted lifestyle mockups as standard practice for online selling. Today: POD sellers use digital mockups and AI tools to place products in endless lifestyle contexts. Let’s talk about lifestyle Mockups: How do you use lifestyle mockups in your store? What prompts or settings have helped your products connect with customers? Do you prefer natural everyday scenes or more styled, aspirational ones?

Subject: Feedback on Title Structure: AI Analysis and Recommendations To the Zazzle Development Team, I am writing to share a specific conclusion regarding the website's title architecture. I asked an AI to analyze the effectiveness of Zazzle’s current title structure—where the product name (e.g., "Stone Coaster") is automatically appended to the end of the text—and the conclusion was clear: The product name should always come first. Based on the AI's analysis of search algorithms and digital consumer behavior, the current system of placing the product name at the end is a significant flaw for the following reasons: Algorithmic Priority: Search engines prioritize "front-loaded" keywords. By forcing the product name to the end, the platform is actively weakening the SEO ranking of every product on the site. Mobile Truncation: On mobile devices, titles are often cut off after 50–60 characters. The AI confirmed that if the product name is at the end, it is frequently invisible to shoppers scrolling through results, leading to lower click-through rates. Clarity and Trust: Users scan in an "F-pattern." The most important information (what the item is) needs to be the first thing they see to establish instant product relevance. The AI's conclusion is that for maximum sales and visibility, the platform needs to be updated so that the product name appears at the very beginning of the title string rather than the end. I am requesting that you consider this change to improve the professional quality of the marketplace and to help creators' products be found more easily by customers. Best regards, Chris at Onshi Designs

I've been having this problem for a few weeks. The downloadable images of my product are now separate-- the front graphic, lettering on front and a 3rd one for lettering on back. I use PlaceIt and it only allows one image. I've used a workaround for the past week but it takes me forever. So far it's like this for Paper Cups and Can Glasses. Wasn't at one time, the 2 artwork images to download, were front and back, with lettering or all layers on them? I've searched and looked and can't find this topic. Thanks for any advice. @itsMolly

I’ve been thinking a lot about lifestyle mockups lately, especially the ones we use for blankets and home décor, and I ended up wandering into some research about whether adding a cat or dog actually makes a difference. And honestly, it was such a pleasant surprise to see how much it can help. It turns out that when there’s a pet in the scene a sleepy dog curled up on a chair or a cat tucked into the corner people tend to linger a little longer. The whole image feels warmer and more inviting, almost like you’ve stepped into someone’s quiet afternoon. It creates this gentle emotional pull that a plain product photo just can’t match. I found myself smiling at the examples, because it really does change the mood. Of course, the blanket still needs to be the feature, but a pet resting nearby adds a sense of life and comfort without taking over. It’s the difference between showing a product and showing a moment that animal lovers can relate to. Do your mockups with pets seem to get more attention, or do you prefer a clean, pet‑free look? Here’s one of mine…When your Golden Retriever loves your fleece blanket you know it’s a keeper! Botanical blue and pink Hydrangea by Susang6

Hi , I see there is a new way to personalize products for customers. After clicking 'Personalize this design', a new page opens and on the right, the product and personalization elements are visible, while on the left, you enter your details. This is a fantastic solution, but unfortunately, I don't know how to activate it for my shop and products. I tried to find this option in the settings and I can't find it anywhere. Can someone please advise me on how to activate it?

Hello. I just opened my store a few months ago, so I am very new. A few friends of mine made some purchases - so far those are my only sales 😊 Since it was a friend of mine, I was able to see the actual products. I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the printing 😕 She ordered a Tote Bag and the art work printed was dull and faded. She also ordered a Coffee Mug and the printing was over saturated... the pieces they ordered on paper (Note Cards, Greeting Cards) looked great! I am wondering how you all handle quality control with the printing. Luckily, I knew the people who made my first orders - but if those items would have gone out to people I did not know, I think they would be disappointed with the products they ordered... and I do not want my name to be on products that are bad quality. I am considering deleting those products (Tote Bag, Coffee Mug) that the printing was not good... but I do not know what the quality of a bunch of other products is going to be. I was also going to order one of each product - but that gets really expensive. I know it is NOT the quality of my original art I uploaded - I have 40+ years as a graphic designer, so I know how to create clean, sharp, print ready, high resolution art. How have you all handled this situation ?? Thanks for your input !!

"Referred" Sale. Guessing she received a discount offer with Zazzles "referral" code after she placed her order, came back via the link in her Zazzle email, purchased more, I make less. If we did this exact thing -- asked our friends and family to cancel and repurchase with our links -- we would be told this is not in the spirit of the affiliate program. The program is for new customers being referred to Zazzle. But here we are. 🤷♀️ Reminder: You are not a third party, Zazzle. This is the reason Zazzle isn't a top priority for me anymore and my stores just coasting. Was a nice run from 2008 until Secondary Content where we began paying other designers for their work (yes, aware Secondary program canceled). Downhill since then. P.S. The people (mostly) of Zazzle are great. This program stinks.

I noticed that some of my flyers were not available in my UK store, I contacted Zazzle at support@zazzle.com, Hi Zazzle, many of my flyers that I have designed are only available on the American site and not the UK site, for example, Product ID: 244004869245007389 Product ID: 244-25966854-8706185 Product ID: 244-97306978-0646493 I also notice that on the American site there are 308,731 results and on the UK site there are only 245,928 results for flyers, so this may be a bigger issue and not only concerning myself. Can you please look into this. and this was their reply, Hi, I am Joanna I hope you are well, do let me help you with your query. Firstly thank you very much for your feedback and reaching out about our Flyers. Yes they have been discontinued on Zazzle.co.uk that is correct. Sorry for any disappointment. If I can help you further, please do let me know and I will do my best to assist you. Kind regards Is this true or simply AI getting it wrong again?
