Referral links did not work!!

I just spent all day customizing a bunch of stuff for a customer and did not get the referral for that sale. Everything I sent to them had my links attached! Who do I contact about this?

You might be able to find the post by going to the Promoting forum and searching for "not receiving my referral credit" .

I also do Postcrossing!

None of those things happened, so that's why it's a mystery. I know the person I was doing the work for and asked her several scenarios as I know how Zazzle works. She clicked on the links and purchased the products. I deserve my referral and am pretty upset about it. It seems like in 2023, we shouldn't STILL be having referral issues with Zazzle. It's disheartening when you work hard on a sale and receive 50% of what you should, especially since sales have tanked lately!

Here are a few senerio's where you would not earn the referral...

One of them clicked on a link in a Zazzle email in the last 7 days.  All those links have Z's referral id attached.  Since 7 days have not past, Z's referral id sticks and they get the referral.

One of them clicked on a link in the last 7 days on Pinterest or some other social with someone else referral id attached.  Again, since 7 days have not passed, the other person's id sticks and they earn the referral.

There are more...  It is always frustrating when you think you've done everything right and the referral does not come through.  I have a few friends that shop at Zazzle and they go through my website, picking up my rfid on the way.  I think once, it has actually stuck.  Usually they get an email about a sale and visit Z, then they think of me and back out and go through my site... which is great, but they already picked up Z rfid, so it doesn't help me...lol.  I usually don't have the heart to tell them or to "train" them to clear cookies, etc...

Because someone else rfid cookie and stick to a browser for 7 days before yours can be set, there are all sorts of ways to not get the referral...

Also, why am I labeled as a "New Contributor," I've been on Zazzle since 2007.

The new contributor label is just a forum thing.
