Hi, whenever any product gets any sale, does that product appear a little bit higher in marketplace search result than before? have anyone of you experienced this?
two of my products were in same place in marketplace search results with 1 sale each. one of them got another sale, but it is now appearing much lower than the other. I do not know why this has happened.

One way to boost sales is to make products for an underserved niche so there is less competition. I went to your store and saw that you have created for Zazzle's most popular and therefore most crowded niches; weddings, baby showers, birthdays and Christmas.
Something else I noticed in your store is that you are in India. I recommend using that to your advantage to make products that come up higher in search. Design for Indian holidays. Design for the different ways that people in India or in Indian communities around the world might celebrate birthdays, weddings and baby showers. I just ran a Zazzle search for "Indian baby shower" and there were only 233 invitations. And the common thematic animal was elephants rather than bears. If you start designing in that niche you will be a LOT higher in the search results than you are now.

yes, a product sales does appear a little bit higher in marketplace, but for how long is the question, because your product can be overtaken by other products. there might be some time limit. The A.I. algorithm is adjusting all the time. whether there is some bias on the algorithm is unknown. there are some changes happening in the algorithm over the past years. only zazzle devs can answer this, but they refuse to answer.

You'll learn that nothing is immediate. The marketplace is ever evolving and needs time to index and there are thousands of sales all happening at the same time which means the marketplace has a lot of indexing to do.
Possibly unsold items get a little priority to give them a chance of getting sold
I wouldn't worry about it.
Continue creating products and promoting and enjoying the zazzle experience.

My experience has been that a sale or two doesn't necessarily move a product significantly upward unless it's part of a very specific search in which the number of products shown is quite limited. For instance, if the search is for a product sold and that features a "flower," the product is unlikely to be found easily because it's a keyword that will bring up many thousands of products, if not millions. If, instead, it's for "tulip," there will be fewer products shown but it'll still be a significant number, and if it's for "amaryllus," still fewer products will be shown and it will have a much better chance of being seen.
Sales aren't the only thing that move a product upward. Views can give it a boost too.
Trying to figure out where one's product sits in the marketplace and why probably isn't the best use of your time. It would be better to run several searches to see how many products come up. If it's page after page after page, it means your product isn't unique and may never rise that high. You're better off creating designs unlike most others but would show up more easily.
Stop worrying quite so much about statistics. Do as @Sara_H suggests and "Continue creating products and promoting and enjoying the zazzle experience."

thank you very much for your detailed explanation. actually the sales i have gotten so far were from my known customer. i did not get any sale from any unknown person so far. if my products would appear a liitle bit higher, I would have been gotten customer. two of my products are placed in 7th page of search result. I just want it to appear a little bit higher so that I can get some sales.

If you buy a sample of your own products it may not count the same way as from a legitimate customer.
Looking at your products and the niche they're in, you have some stiff competition from other sellers (we all do!) so expecting fast results from a single sale isn't realistic.
