Yes, it seems that many of us are experiencing dismal sales. I've been on Zazzle for 12 years, and my Jan & Febr sales are down drastically....back to 2015 sales levels, I believe. I've always experienced an annual growth in sales (and number of products I have available), but the dive started late 2023, and seems to be getting worse, unfortunately.

Best of luck to you! I'm trying to hang in there, but have to come to a point where I'm realistic about time spent in relation to revenue earned.

I just got my first sale for Oct. (Well, second but the first one was just a single greeting card so not too exciting except it's one that hadn't sold before. ) But today someone ordered 5 pint glasses, referrer=None. Yay! Maybe Christmas sales are starting already?

mid October that's the forecast, we will get our sales back starting half of the October. The interest rate has been reduce by the fed it will come back, also because of the election, the politician has raise a lot of funds. Kamala alone has raised 1 billion, but she is spending it all on campaign like crazy. so let's say the money will circulate soon enough.

Hello everyone, how is October  going ? When will the holiday shopping phase start ?

After having a couple of sales in early Oct, it's  all quiet ... crickets!

A couple of months goes by to get one payment ...

I have had 5 sales this month which is an amazing improvement from the summer! But after the second week of October it's been low activity again. Do customers tend to shop more in the beginning of a month I wonder? All the major US holidays are happening at the end of the months from now till December so shopping will probably have to be done in the beginning weeks.

Congrats @MissPaperFarm  5 sales! That's  amazing 🙂

I got 6 sales already this October, but I want more, as far as I understand, our customers are waiting for some kind of Sales to happen, Like Halloween sales or autumn sale... usually 3 to 4 days before Halloween or within those days might have some good sales happening, Holiday shopping phase usually starts after Halloween I think.

Congrats @chuamishael  🙂

Fingers crossed and hoping if November is kind to me ...

Yeah, usually 3 to 4 days before Halloween, then after all saints day, shopping starts to go up, but as far as I understand customers are holding on until some kind of holiday sales happens on zazzle, My Friends are not ready to spend anything online until or after Oct 28.

That's interesting; October's been a bit slower for me and noticeably slower around Halloween (my products are more evergreen than holiday targeted). Hoping November & December will be busy and not fizzers.

And November came in silently .... Whine Fairy please be kind 🙏

I'd thought I hadn't gotten any sales yet this month, but I just went to look at my earnings history and saw four new entries since my last notification.

I broke my no sale streak since Aug 19th with a pillow sale yesterday so I hope that was the end of the longest no sale streak I've had the last 12 yrs or so.
So depressing to see almost daily "you have such and such # of products that may need optimizing" notifications only.

@JocelynMB I totally can relate to this no sale streaks .... so depressing, hopeless and demotivating and rushing to see the red spots on bell as only likes or verify account reminders ...

Yes, Zazzle has lost a significant amount of traffic—over 7 million visits in the past 6-8 months. They have also started to reduce their advertising budget.

I finally had a sale a week ago. And the same item sold again yesterday. Fingers crossed sales start picking up for everyone.

If the Xmas rush could start around about now, that would be fantastic because I'm certainly not seeing it yet. October was weak and this first week of November has been particularly poor.

It's second week of October 2024, and I have made 2 sales this month! I was pleasantly surprised. I hope this is the beginning of the end of this mysterious dry spell. Both came from third party so that means they came through maybe a Zazzle ad, or social media. I don't use paid ads myself, but I do post on social media. These sales have come through after 0 sales in June, 3 sales in July, 1 sale in August and again 0 sales in September.

Update on sales: October was great, I got the most sales all year, 7! But then it went quiet again this month of November 🤔 One thing I can say is that I'm feeling a little frozen on how to do online promotions at the moment. It seems like most platforms are completely over saturated and the algorithms are wacky. My social accounts have been at a stand-still for years with no new followers. It doesn't seem reels and paid advertising is working any better either. I guess it's just a transitional time perhaps...

This year November is so poor ... people are viewing but not buying !

It's like the stores are frozen for me, I haven't had any sales for days,.. 😞

I had 15 sales for October albeit some didn't pay much. As for November, I've had 8 so far. I have 3 Zazzle stores, and I would say 85% are from one store. I can't believe how much the products here have gone up. I'm trying to keep my prices reasonable/competitive and in doing so, don't make near as much as I have in the past.  Last year, I opened the 3rd store which is basically t-shirts. I make very few sales which is kind odd because I sell the same T-Shirts on two other POD sites, and I'm selling them there. For now, I'm focusing on the main store and probably won't be adding to the T-shirt store since it's a waste of time. Still I am getting views (clicks) on Pinterest that don't show as views on Zazzle- puzzling.

It is a little confusing on how expensive the products are. Postcards and art prints are the only products that seem like they make sense in terms of price and profit. I bought my own wrapping paper on sale yesterday and was just thinking that 1 roll not on sale is around $24! Whereas at Current Catalog, you can get 3 jumbo rolls double the length for $20. There is no way to compete other than having one of kind specialty designs.

Sales have picked up this week - looks like people are starting to order Xmas gifts and cards.

Big sales and discounts, and sales 😞 Shouldn't there be big profits right now,... ? Confusing and 😞

Hi everyone, December is almost here, so how has been November so far ?

Boki

I let the time pass, the holidays are getting closer and closer, and the sales are getting more and more desperate, almost at a standstill,... I was hoping that the holidays would bring great profits, but unfortunately, that's not the case. 😞

I had 3 sales in one day including an expensive Acrylic Wall Art piece but not so much anything Christmas related but a few cards. I have one shirt that seems to do pretty well but everything else not so much. Was hoping my Christmas stuff from last year might do better but nothing. I can't afford Christmas this year guess a lot of other people are in the same boat. But, can't get nowhere by quitting!

I feel that arcylic wall art are difficult to sell, I only manage to sell 1 poster prints in my entire life in zazzle. do you sell a lot of wall arts?

Not a whole lot but I also agree wall art is hard to sell. I do try and make whatever wall art I'm making at the time available in different sizes and types. If acrylic is too much they can always buy it in a photo print or smaller canvas. Never did sell a canvas yet.

For those of us who feel the way the MP is displayed to customers is at least partially responsible for the decrease in sales, here's a prime example of what we have been talking about. Do a MP search for "Pug Ornaments", and then refine it to Ornaments. Take a look at the first couple of pages of results.

I can't imagine a customer would be excited about paging through a bunch of blank black ornaments.....!

The same happens for Malshi and Morkie dog ornaments.  There are also some black background ornaments with tiny images.

It will get much worse now that people can copy and paste things from their clipboard to the products. I just can't understand how these make it to the first page though.

I couldn't post an update until after the Holiday forum hiatus. However, I noticed just a few days after I posted the above on 12/20, the above mentioned search changed somewhat. I no longer saw the dozens of black blank products on the first few pages; only a few of them. It still seems that way. So....someone listened and responded, which is good.

Seemed like things were starting to get better late November and into early December. But then I had a sale on 12/13 and it's as if Zazzle closed up shop. Absolutely nothing since. Welcome to the New Year........🙄

What i observe is, beginnings of a month are always much better than the second half of a month... we all know why :), but i wanted to share my observation...

I don't know why you think the first half of the month IS ALWAYS better. Please explain. My data doesn't support that btw.

Oh, okay, maybe it is just a feeling that I had. I thought it was because people normally have more money in the beginnings of a month. Also, it is like a new start to think about what is coming the next weeks that one has to plan..

The only thing somewhat consistent (possibly only for me) is that sales slow down on the weekend.

My sales have been horrendous, not earning the money I used to that is for sure. I earn a good income from Zazzle and I am now down 50-60% less. I would love to know if others are having these problems? Is it the economy?
