Yes, it seems that many of us are experiencing dismal sales. I've been on Zazzle for 12 years, and my Jan & Febr sales are down drastically....back to 2015 sales levels, I believe. I've always experienced an annual growth in sales (and number of products I have available), but the dive started late 2023, and seems to be getting worse, unfortunately.
Best of luck to you! I'm trying to hang in there, but have to come to a point where I'm realistic about time spent in relation to revenue earned.

Same. I've gone from a solid part-time income to incidental bonus money, if I'm lucky. I can no longer count on earning a steady X amount per month the way I previously could.
This holiday season was especially disappointing. I always looked forward to big payouts in December, January, and February. Those days are gone.

January sales have gone down a lot for me compared to last January. My November and December were better than last year's, so this has been a sudden drop. Not for lack of adding and promoting either.

Unfortunately, same thing for me. Nov & Dec I was slightly behind last year but January has been horrendous! And I've been creating, promoting, optimizing, & all. I just don't get it. Although I am noticing shifts in the algorithm which aren't in my favor.

Hi Marcia
Same pattern here. Although I was very lazy for the last half of 2024 and ignored Zazzle, so I guessed it was a result of that. I have pruned back my distractions for this year, hence more attention to Zazzle. I am intrigued to see if I can get it pumping.😁

You're welcome to use this discussion to discuss sales on Zazzle, but we'd prefer to avoid hosting conversation about competing services.

Every time I see a notification, it's 9 times out of 10 always a depressing "you have 1, 3, 10, products that may need optimising" ugh

Perhaps a Discord server could be made for folks here to talk freely.

Did something happen on the 20th? I ask because that's the day sales died for me. Here. Everywhere else, sales are fine.

Same here. I was convincing myself that it’s normal until I saw my Google Analytics-all the stats are showing a downward trend since 20th.

@KayCordingly the 20th was when the President was sworn in (Inauguration day) so you could say something happened that day

I usually have 0 sales a day and make a few sales throughout each month like 2 to 3. But, my last sale was 2 greeting cards at 25% off and I only made .22 cents 😱 That royalty rate is brutal. I remember in 2016 when I first started, I could mark my cards up to 50% royalty rate and make at least 2$ a card. Now I have to keep the base royalty rate because if I mark it up, I really don't think anyone is going to buy a regular greeting card for over $8.

you can mark up your card to 50%? holy crap, but in any case I only do 10%, but sales feels so slow. and earnings feels so low... you probably can do that in 2016 maybe because competition is still low, and right now those crazy influencer scamming and encouraging people to do print on demand, even tho it's not easy to do business here. these youtuber have attracted significant high amount of people doing print on demand and may have attracted the wrong people too.

Yes! but, that was back in 2016 when I would mark it up 50%, the base price would be around $2 and then I could sell them for $4. Now, that is not possible. The internet is definitely over flooded with products and it's hard to get the quality products to be seen. Most search engine results bring up untrustworthy items. I'm always trying to think of ways to get around all that, but haven't figured out anything quite yet ☹️

My sales have been constantly going down compared to the years before. I made over 2,600 images for my products. It takes a lot of time and money to make these. I made a few videos. So I couldn't make a lot of new things, as I did before. I thought since I didn't make enough new things, I should try, so I made a lot of new things and sales remain the same. I've been posting on a few social media pages most days for several months now. I even ran, and still am running, some ads, but my sales remain much lower than before. I do have some products that get shown on the first few pages on Zazzle too. But still, my sales have decreased by giant percentages compared to the years before. I looked at the search amount from Google and it's still high for my category. I'm lost now. I'm not sure what to do to improve the sales.

$1 an egg in some places. That's why sales are down. If I had to make a choice between food and stickers... no brainer. My Zazzle sales are down by 50%. Funnily, all other PODs are holding steady.
January and February are slow months in the POD world.
On the bright side, some PODs are going bust. Be glad Zazzle is still alive.

"Eggs what are they mrdoodle? Here in Aussie land we are experiencing the same, mainly due to a virus outbreak! Unfortunately we probably don't have many to export to the USA. Would not be worth it either due to hefty tariffs 🙄
