Shipping Charges on Mugs

I would like to know why the cost of shipping a "single coffee mug" is so high. It was almost $4.00.

$4 is a really fair price for shipping a mug. It's almost impossible to ship anything in a box for less via any carrier that I am personally aware of.

$4 is cheap compared to shipping anything within or out of Canada.  We used to sell things on eBay a number of years ago, but quit because the shipping crushed any profit.

As of yesterday, standard shipping on a mug was $10 and change. Close to $11. (Within USA) 😫

You bring a very good point, sometime the shipping cost is more than the actual item which is enough to drive customers away forever.

It is time for Zazzle to retire the greedy shipper.

As the cost of gas has risen along with insurance, taxes, fees, and who knows what else, so has the cost of shipping risen. And carrier pigeons are extinct.

Honestly $4 doesn't seem outrageous for anything that needs to be sent in a package larger than an envelope these days... I regularly order something that is heavy (not from Zazzle). The shipping on an $84 order is $30...

I'm rather surprised at that low cost since last time I checked they still charge $5.95 just to ship a bumper sticker. Go figure.

If you want to save on shipping, and are planning on ordering multiple items, you might want to check out the Zazzle Black program. https://help.zazzle.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500004463622

Wouldn't this be the shipper (USPS etc) issue and not a Z issue?

Shipping charges with the various carriers are getting higher and higher. I'm surprised by the OP's mention of only $4 for a mug.
