This pop-up really bugs me ... anyone else?

When I go to a product page and this pop-up appears, it frequently turns my whole computer screen completely black for a minute before going back to the product page. This may be something to do with settings on my computer that I'm not aware of but it does startle me ever time it happens. It may be doing the same thing to customers. Not to mention that it's really annoying to have to click it off all the time before getting on with my design. Is there a way to permanently turn it off?

It annoys me to have to turn it off when I'm on the individual product page, trying to check out stats, see insights, download mockups, personalize text, etc.

I imagine customers must be equally frustrated when trying to customize template fields without having to enter the design tool.

According to Z staff, this popup is to be considered "expected behaviour" (I inquired in the fall when it started showing up). Not sure why it would be expected to have a repeated intrusive popup. If I was a customer I would think there was a scam or virus and would leave

We share this space with Zazzle customers. I am sure that Zazzle would delete this if it bothered them. I trust that it encourages them to shop more - and that is the whole point. Quite frankly I am used to it and it doesn't bother me.

Yes, this bothers me too. It is most annoying when I open multiple tabs (sometimes up to 15) for individual products and have to close it on every single product page before I can do what I need to do.

I understand it may be helpful for getting customers on Zazzle's email list but I am already on their customer email list and it still keeps popping up.

If I was only a customer and already subscribed then it would be most annoying to keep having it pop up.

If you turn on a browser add-on ad-blocker you can slow some of the intrusive ad behaviors down some. Many ads are coded now to get around them, and you have to update the blockers, but just note sometimes using a browser ad-blocker will change the look or behavior or some webpages unbeknownst to you. I turn mine on and off depending on what I am doing. When I am working I usually have it on because it helps immensely to get things done, but it's not foolproof.

Yep - hate it.  Seems like it should be easy-ish to NOT show ads if a person is logged into a Z account?  i.e., Z already has their email address.
