Tissue Paper is out of stock... AGAIN???

This is no less than the fifth time in the last year that tissue paper is completely sold out. With the holidays coming up, this is going to hurt a lot of sales!

I've brought this up before and was assured that steps were being taken to mitigate this moving forward. One idea that was floated the last time this happened was, Zazzle could consider securing a backup or alternate tissue paper manufacturer, but I guess that never happened. I'm beginning to think the issue isn't really even being addressed.

I'm sorry if I seem frustrated, but this has been a recurring problem for a very long time. It's not insignificant. Some designers on Zazzle rely solely on tissue paper products. Continually running out of this product not only hurts our (designer) sales, but those who purchase our products for their end sales too. 2023-11-05_12-34-27.png2023-11-05_12-34-46.png

It has become a farce.  I try to be patient and diplomatic, but this situation with tissue paper has destroyed both.  My understanding is that it's an equipment issue.  Obviously, fixing the issue is not a priority for Zazzle since it's been going on for several months now.  I have written off the holidays.  

I'm at a loss as to how fixing this issue is not a priority.  Tissue paper is very popular - all year long.  Customers have their own businesses with their own customers who rely on tissue paper being supplied by Zazzle.  Evidently, those customers are irrelevant.  

Agree 100%. My holiday sales will be a fraction of what I had anticipated and depend on with no way to move forward knowledgeably, as we're always left in the dark. Not a great business model. I'm also struggling with diplomacy and embarrassment when having to field questions from frustrated (and probably now former) customers who have given up and resorted to Etsy or niche websites that offer more than lame excuses and iffy order fulfillment. Really frustrating and disappointing.

It's blatantly obvious that fixing whatever equipment / production issues plaguing tissue paper is not a priority at all for Zazzle.  This latest "out of stock" is closing in on a month.  It is beyond comprehension.  I'm stunned at such horrible, dismissive treatment of a top selling product, and worse, customers.

Unfortunately tissue paper is out of stock at the moment as we are facing issues with equipment and are still trying to fulfill orders. We hope to get this resolved as quick as possible.

This keeps happening. Direct question for you: What is management's plan to mitigate this problem moving forward? Please be specific. 

I have been informed by our production Team that, unfortunately due to ongoing equipment issues it has been necessary to limit orders going on this product in order to fulfill customers’ orders in a timely manner.  No ETA as of yet when stock will be back available. Sorry for the disappointment here. I will be sure to keep an eye on this for any updates but as of now unfortunately we do not know when this will be fixed.

Lisa, I just saw your post.  We know about the equipment issues.  This has been going on for months. 

Clearly, there is nobody who can fix the problem.  Is Zazzle planning on getting someone who can fix the problem?  Is fixing this a priority?  It seems it's not since this has been going on for several months now.  If it's not a priority, why not?  

Yes this has been a ongoing issue. Unfortunately I do not have the answers as of now. I know that at the moment we are working on getting back logged orders made and sent as quick as we can, and in order to get this resolved they have made a decision to mark the products as out of stock for the time being, so that we can fulfill this. I completely understand this is frustrating, this is most certainly a top priority here in Zazzle. Once I have any further info I will be sure to keep you guys updated.

I appreciate the direct answer regarding this being a priority at Zazzle.  What perplexes me is that, since this has been ongoing, why hasn't Zazzle hired someone who can fix the problem?  Or get rid of the equipment and buy new equipment.  According to a Zazzler who contacted the manufacturer, the problem is not at their end.  (If it actually is, how about getting another manufacturer).  

I hope concrete solutions will happen very soon instead of just limping along.

Just saw on my tissue paper products today that says in red that this item has been discontinued. Can you please verify this?

Mine don't which is weird since yours does.  Are your products on other color tissue paper rather than white?  

You're right! The only color not discontinued is "white." I'll have to change my options. Thanks for pointing that out!

I just got another customer confused and upset about how often tissue paper has been out.  She buys a lot from Zazzle.  She has her own business with many customers and shows.  She is panicking because she has to prepare for Christmas.  I have said many times that people around the world have their own businesses and rely on Zazzle to provide reliable and consistent tissue paper.  

Zazzle - please - hire someone (or outsource) who can fix the equipment issue.  Or get new equipment.  If it's the manufacturer, please change the manufacturer.  This has gone on for far too long.
